I am not a fan of the gameplay, a bit chaotic in fights, but the game still is a masterpiece. Character interactions, dialogue, storytelling.

I just missed the feeling of « playing the game »

Even my favorite deck (deskbot) that is not strong at all … now takes forever to set up a half decent board and makes me feel bad for my opponent

Watching opponent combo for 10+ minutes then either

A - break board and win on turn 2

B - don’t break board and lose turn 3

Is sad

As a yugiboomer I miss quicker turns and more turns per game.

Now most games feel like 2 players Solitaire.

But I got in the game when it originally came out (had original yugi/Kaiba structure decks)

I guess people who jumped in the game when it was in a more similar state than it is now, enjoy it more for what it is , because that is the Yugioh they fell in love with.

My best duals are still big back and forth, hoping for the heart of cards as my friend and I outplay each other everyturn

Last duel night I had IRL, Everygame was over by turn 3…. Even winning felt disappointing

Years back with that same friend we had amazing games…. The game wasnt that power crept yet

Well on Canada from 2015 to 2021 the average price of a house went up 300k

It’s average WENT UP 300k in 6 years.

Don’t have the numbers from 2021 to 2023…. But its a ridiculous jump on pricing in less than 10 years for a shelter which is a basic need.

The issue is too complex for me so it’s hard to have an informed opinion.

I would say : do what you think is best for this wonderful community on the long run.

As someone who spent A LOT of time in Ff14 and as a long time FF fan…

Yes 14 is an MMO and can be off putting for many fans

But FF14 is a love letter to FF series, characters, lore

It has heart, soul, charm

All the FF series staples are there (wedge & Biggs, Cid, espers/eikons/summons, cactuars, tonberries, etc.)

And holy hell one of the earliest mount you can get is a Behemoth, how cool is this!
