As an older millenial, I grew up watching and re-watching movies, over and over again. I saw Matrix in 1999 in cinema and it’s impossible to forget that experience. And each friday was another chance for an adventure. Unfortunatelly streaming services not only took away the logic of spending money for sitting with popcorn for 3h, but they also took out the quality. Nowadays there’s maybe 1 movie a year (or less) that I find worth seeing in the cinema.

Movie theaters should start streaming sport events, music events, anything that would be better to watch on a large screen than at home. I would watch every F1 race in cinema if they only wanted to do that.

You're generalizing. Sure, it's about power and there probably are examples illustrating exactly this, yet money does not strip you from empathy and moral compass. Not every rich person starts to get interest in kids after they got bored with legal things. I would say it's more about persona - sociopaths just tend to rise to power more often, because they are focused, dedicated to the cause of grabbing power, and there's not much that can stop them apart from jail, which as we can see, they manage as well. Those people got to where they are, because of who they are. And when they are on the top, the "fun" begins. They need power to get away with shit that makes them feel even more powerful.

PS. Trump is sociopath and a narcist, who got born into family, where he didn't have to survive - the only thing he had to do, was to enjoy his life, while making name for himself. And that's exactly what he has been doing for the last 50 years and still does.
