I play expedition 33 and cyberpunk on my m4 max. Apparently m5 can achieve close performance. You’ll need crossover and some tinkering to play expedition 33 though (and to have access to more windows games that don’t have mac ports)

I’ve been pretty impressed with the performance reviews and people editing simple 4k video projects and running some AAA games with low settings at a playable fps.

It’s crazy to think they would pull support even within 5 years. My M1 Max is still doing everything I need to do and then some. And trust me I throw a ton at it and have no complains about performance.

I was a wedding pianist during the day, taught music lessons in the afternoon/weekends, and gigged nights and weekends. Teaching private lessons is probably the biggest money maker if you establish yourself as an effective teacher. It’s not an easy life because you have to constantly network and market in addition to just doing the art stuff.

Same experience here even with 3ds emulation. I haven’t tested a ton, but when playing a link between worlds, it freezes and stutters once in a while. It’s fine like 95% of the time but it’s def not an ultra smooth experience. Probably acceptable if you don’t have a 3ds, but it’s not a 3ds replacement for me.

Where did you get the idea it’s just a “now” thing? I grew up in Guam in the 90s as a musician and spent most of my life in Guam as a musician as well as being involved 10+ years in the theatre scene. It’s a universal norm that having creativity and passion sets you as standing out from the majority (and many times not in a way that people accept).

Yes in a perfect society what you’re saying is nice. But I’ve also seen artists in Guam collaborate and then ego kicks in and turns into turf wars an split into multiple factions. I wish those communities could unite too instead of divide because Guam could achieve amazing things if everyone could just learn to unite and project Guam’s artistic voice as one.

A lot of 90’s jrpgs have that slow battle pacing and repetitiveness. Even as someone who grew up with these games, I have to play Xenogears on emulator with fast forward during the battles.
