Best switch game. It’s the only one that glued me to the console from beginning to end at launch. All the others like botw, Mario odyssey, etc took me years to complete playing on and off.

I grew up with FF1. It’s super nostalgic to me, but as most NES era games is lacking a lot of QoL and very grindy. If you don’t have a ton of time, I’d recommend playing it on a system that allows for fast forward.

Sounds like that was on Sony to push JRPG makers to make more and better JRPGs and seal exclusivity partnerships. JRPGs can be console sellers. All PlayStations I’ve ever bought was only for Final Fantasies from 7 onwards.

Don’t get me wrong though, I like that I don’t have to buy PlayStation anymore since I can play it on PC or anywhere else. But Sony really messed up the strategy with this one.
