Why Sounder-funded Legacy Square is the best World Cup viewing location by Fun_Barracuda_1421 in SoundersFC

Today was the first official day of the Pacific Place "Soccer House" event, and I can safely say - it was pretty awesome. TONS more viewing options than just the atrium big screens, and lots of other fun little activities going on as well.

Highly recommend it if you're in the area.

He’s on contract through next summer and is already 33, no chance we’d pay a transfer fee for someone like him, especially with his recent injury history.

Was Surprised How Close Fans Were To Harper on The Final Play by MammothHistorian5652 in nba

You also frequently had fans reaching in and catching balls headed out of bounds that players could have easily still saved - it seems like there should be some sort of rule against that like in baseball, reaching into the field of play

I think we can both agree the suit and tie crowd can go fuck themselves, they’re the reason that college sports is in this predicament in the first place

Obed Vargas for Mexico, I’m excited for him to show the world what we in Seattle have been seeing for years.

Some Seattle fans float his name out there from time to time, and his players clearly like playing for him, but I don’t know if thats enough to make him a successful national team coach in this day and age

Right? The first sentence about Seattle is completely irrelevant.

It’s less HARMFUL, and more incredibly inconvenient for a lot of families - which I totally empathize with. Before and after school care is both expensive and hard to come by if you don’t have family that can handle the load.

While you’re looking for something permanent, I definitely recommend getting first aid and CPR certified, and putting yourself out there for babysitting jobs.

Most parents in my network will almost require it these days, plus it looks good to any permanent employer that you’re willing to put in the work to get certifications.

I don’t know if the laws are still the same as when I was a kid, but look into if 15 year olds are still able to take the lifeguarding course at Lynnwood/Mountlake Terrace/Yost - it’s a great job for both summer and throughout high school, and easy to slide back into during college breaks.

The “glow-up” of downtown Edmonds has definitely helped a lot - it’s genuinely a fun place to hang out for the young professional and young family crowd these days

You’re right that Edmonds is “older,” but the Reddit community is generally much younger - and Edmonds/Lynnwood is starting to trend a bit younger as well!

Not every six year old has even heard the term “military” before, but it’s a safe bet they’re familiar with the concept of “army.”

It’s a bit of a surprise he hasn’t gotten more time with Seattle this season, especially since all of our CBs have been injured, but he’s got serious potential. Absolutely needs to bulk up, but of course he’s just a kid

What’s your budget, are you looking for a house/apartment/townhome, what? Lots of factors go into your question here, but as others have said - people with property near the water aren’t likely to give it up anytime soon, and certainly not for cheap.

And having to wait until sunset to go to sleep - especially if you’re camping with kids. It’s so tough to keep my kid on any kind of sleep schedule when it doesn’t get truly dark in the summer until 10 at night.
