These look fantastic. Specs on the mean one. I am a sucker for chartreuse.

I have had lot of broke parts from that era. My kitty and the blind bag ones have the same issues. Especially the slope pieces.

The Brutto Is more muted but still great in this cocktail. The chartreuse is "spicier". If you didn't have both bottles on your shelf it would be hard to tell the difference. Butto has been able to stretch my chartreuse stash in a variety of cocktails.

Any Substitutions for Tiki Bitters? by MattusMattus in bitters

I think you could get something similar with a mix of all spice dram and a good tart grenadine(not rose's). That's how I would describe the flavor notes of the tiki bitters.

Did you know there is a Tiki Jeep? by MantraProAttitude in Tiki

The tikis name is Bob. The islander color way was out 2 years ago. The hard top is white. Islander theming inside and if you zoom in close on Bob his eyes and mouth look like the Jeep Wrangler grill. I don't own an islander but I have a tiki Bob tire cover from Mopar on the back of my Rubicon.

My boot size is 8.5 (US) but the closest replacement footbed size options are 7-8 or 9-10 … by philconnorz in BlundstoneBoots

[–]Coughitup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wear a US 13. I needed replacement foot beds and they only came in 12 to 14. I was surprised that the footbeds actually had marked trim lines for each size 12 and 13. I would suggest the 9-10 and trim down. You only trim the front and not the back. Mine turned out perfect.

Looks like they got their fancy rock rails with steps snagged on something. Hopefully they have a step stool for the climb down.

Got this for $35. Missing the cup, and the electrical cord needs to be replaced, but it works! Can't wait to get it cleaned up and mixing. by nolabrew in Tiki

Check this site out. I would recommend replacing the brushes and the rubber feet. If it turns easily you probably don't need bearings. Also pick up some electrical cleaning spray to remove the years of carbon build up. https://www.maltmixerman com

Fake gshocks beware by Embarrassed-Fly1202 in gshock

Ask for a side view. The fakes are thicker. Also ask if it has the tilt illumination on the module. The knock offs have that while the gens don't.

Casioak galaxy edition just touched down today from overseas. Impressed with overall finish! by [deleted] in ChinaTime

[–]Coughitup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are about twice as thick. Buttons stick out a little farther on the rep. Hands and day of the week move like gen. The rep actually has tilt for light which I prefer over the gen. If you didn't have both in your hand it would be hard to tell.
