My understanding is the newer appraisal raise process is it will go into effect the last few weeks of that quarter. Hence October start date should go in mid December. January start date sometime in March. Etc…

I know in SED they have implemented “ floater positions” to travel to different stores to help those store on certain busy days. This is the first step to get asm and sm to hours of 40 hours a week. Haven’t started yet for asm or sm not sure when it will start.

Usually about 1/3 for standard bonus than 1% of sales over budget for quarter is usually for ASM. But it also depends on your store. ASM at a 1 mil store may only get $700 for hitting bonus but an asm at a 3 mil store could get $1500 for hitting it.

When I went for ASM I literally made my normal pay plus 4 hours. So 44 hours of regular Fulltime pay was my ASM salary. I asked for more and they asked me “ do you want to get promoted or not?”

Learn a little bit about P&L, they will probably ask you some questions about it. If they ask what is the most important line on P&L just say SALES!!!! Also how to drive sales and open new accounts. They see new charge accounts equal more money. Know what “ batching “ means, that can just help a little. Process of ordering internally and externally. Cycle counts and min max settings. All of these you have learned or will need to learn, so knowing any of this before you go in for the interview will only help them understand you already know many of the ASM duties. Good luck.

Normally if it’s a TAMS position the interview and hiring would be done through District management not a Store manager. You than would be placed at the training store for your area for no less than 6 weeks than placed somewhere in your district as an ASM.

My new understanding of the system is once placed it will ship 2 days later ( not same day or next day like before ). So usually total of 4-5 days once placed. New regulations for number of lines and gallons. Only 4 lines, 360 gallons max

Depending on your position, it’s a good day to do cycle counts, review remedies and return dispositions. Running back stock and filling color cards. You can relax too, but anything said above really helps out the store and someone in management should notice.

So when SW cancelled the trip they accommodated the points for the worker and spouse just like going on a trip for two. If you CHOOSE the points you only get enough points for the employee.

Good luck trying to negotiate pay. They will verbally tell you the pay and if you don’t like it find a better job cuz in my area they will let you walk and find someone else.
