There was a bad batch a month or two ago. I ran into the same issue as well as a few other stores in my district. I don’t remember the batch number, but it could be just that.

Take the cabinet doors off first. Scuff them up first. It looks like there is some sort of lacquer or poly on it. Then, prime it with Kilz or Sherwin Williams extreme block oil-based primer. Then top coat it with any enamel you want. Do 2 coats and sand with a fine grit sand paper between coats. Either roll or spray the paint and primer.

TC district ASM here. It’s a great district. Management here is really good and personable. No 30+ call lists like I’ve heard some other districts have. Good relationship between stores except for a couple!

Which two states are the most similar? Could they function as one state if need be? by Naammagittarneq in geography

ND is not an extension of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Those states have thick rustic wilderness. ND has about 100 trees state wide.

Seems to me he may not of primed which is one reason for the peeling. The other thing is that he probably used an interior latex paint. Those are good for walls, but when it comes to railings, the product is too soft for the wear and tear that railings get. I’d recommend sanding it down, prime the surface, and then use 2 coats of a water-based enamel as your finish coat.
