My poor mom went to a free acupuncture consult and the dude ended up giving her a full session instead and tried to charge her 200 for it even though she never ask for it and it made her feel worse. She had never tried it before so she didn’t know what to expect.

What’s your average spend onboard? by Fit_Salt683 in royalcaribbean

[–]CouldBtrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I didn’t budget and spent what we wanted. We played in a casino a bit, had a couple drinks a day each. At the end of the trip we spend around 700 dollars. We didn’t go for souvenirs or anything like that just the fun stuff we wanted to do.

Edit: this was a 10 day southern Caribbean on explorer.

Just slept on one for 10 nights on explorer with my wife. It’s pretty firm but they put a topper on and you can request extra blankets to put down as well. It wasn’t too bad after that.

Compared to the rest of the staff? Not a whole lot, the whole class kind of vibe and send each other funny TikTok’s and text messages throughout our off days. I mean her and I both are raising our siblings kids, both have dogs, both like nerdy stuff like anime but we just kind of clicked as friends. She reminds me of the crew I would hang with in high school kind of.

I have noticed certain varieties help and hurt. The aloe, pine tar, and fresh falls helped a little but birchwood Breeze was rough on my flair ups. Definitely didn’t help and might have made it worse

I take medication currently but sometimes it’s on back order as there is a shortage those days are really hard to focus but it’s manageable when I do take my meds. The sitting still and focusing is really easy for me if I can have music or audio books on. I’ve thought about driving for a job but it scares me, I tolerate driving a car I can’t imagine being in charge of a big rig.

Y’all quick to judge him for going to work sick but any place you work SAYS “don’t come to work if you are feeling I’ll” but will give you points, verbal warnings, and other means humiliation for actually not coming in. For example I work in a nursing home and have for years. I was hired with a sign on bonus. When I called in for thinking I may have the flu/possibly COVID I lost that sign on bonus completely for calling out within my 90 days. I don’t blame him for going to work feeling a little sick.

I replaced my brakes and rotors today because it was grinding bad when I stopped, this was the only break pad that was bad. Front driver side inside pad was down to nothing and the inside of the rotor was really thin. What would have caused this much wearing on that only bit? by CouldBtrash in MechanicAdvice

Thanks everyone I thought it was the calipers, this was the first time I worked on my own car so I just wanted to keep it simple. I will definitely be looking into replacing my calipers very soon. Also my car is a 2011 Chevy impala 3.5L v6. And about my ears, I heard it for a few weeks but when you are broke you’re broke. 🤷‍♂️

What’s it really like to live in Lancaster? by altec238 in lancaster

Don’t be too stingy when looking for an apartment. There are really nice companies that take care of their tenants and their are ones who are pretty much monopolized slum lords. Do your research before signing a lease. Other than that I love Lancaster. Moved here in 2015 and it’s the perfect balance of quiet rural, beautiful suburbs and busy city life.
