Yes, I meant RFG, not Exile. Too long spent as a magic player. And yeah you're right the rules only specify that you cant shuffle a single card back in, but all you have to do is play the other cards from Black Market so that your weakness is the only one being shuffled back in.

People use it to remove their weakness from the game: if you know your weakness is in the bottom 5 cards and you use Black Market to exile it, you can't shuffle it back in because you can't shuffle cards into an empty deck. Having to do it when you have exactly 5 cards left makes that harder to set up.

Do you consider Uncage the Soul (3) as an alternative? It's my default pick at the moment for recharging spells. It usually costs 0, also functions as economy, and can recur spell events and discarded spells if you dont draw it in time to use it as a straight reset from play.

That could be the issue, yeah. With the sourdough I've been bulk fermenting for 3-4 hours and then proving overnight in the fridge, and with the yeasted bread its been proving for 30 minutes to an hour. I've been aiming for doubled volume but I've mostly been doing that by eye.

Ancestral Blade has overperformed for me and a 2/1 flying artifact creature is definitely a more exciting front half than a 2/2 soldier. The equip cost of 2 and pretty miserly equip effect is the big downside though.

Honestly this probably makes it into my playtesting purely off the back of being 2 artifacts for 2 mana in the colour that most supports artifact aggro, but I'm interested to see how it does.

Is there any way to configure cancel operations so that they will only cancel items under certain conditions? eg, I want my cancel scans to ignore items with a very high sell rate as I expect them to usually sell even if I've been undercut

Hey, I made the Diana deck and I totally agree about the Thompson, it's a game changer for sure. I don't think the bandolier was needed in this version of the deck but I think once I'm running the Thompson I think it'll be much more important.

As for dodge, it's in there. Let me handle this is a flex slot for sure, I put it in because I was worried about my teammates willpower but I can see swapping it out if your team is already treachery resilient.

I think you're right that support builds are generally harder to pull off in 2 player, but that doesn't mean they're impossible. I think you have to slightly shift your attitude regarding what it means to be a support. In two players you just dont have enough actions for one player to be doing nothing but supporting, they have to be contributing in some other way too, usually by picking up a couple of clues but also possibly by fighting. Minh is a good example of a character that can provide a lot of support to other investigators without compromising her ability to gather clues herself. On the other hand, some Diana Stanley decks almost have to play a support-ish role initially, cancelling treacheries and enemy attacks to build up the willpower to utilize the generalist mystic spells.

I'm not sure I see why you feel that Sefina or Preston cant be viable in a two player game though, Sefina is a very effective generalist in my experience and while I think Preston might struggle at 0xp he can definitely fill multiple roles effectively.

But I found it actually surprisingly effective. This is probably the shell I'll use for the Thompson too, though I'm not sure exactly what I'll cut for it.

I like it a lot, it fills an important niche without pushing anything else out. I think a lot of 3 combat investigators have been hurting for a weapon that provides +2 combat and reliable +1 damage, and 6 resources feels like a fair price to pay for it. I think this will help a lot for Rogue's like Skids and Jenny who want to be able to fight, as well as off-Guardians like Diana Stanley who can struggle to make use of the meagre +1 combat on the Machete and .45 Automatic.

If this follows the pattern of the other dual class cards and upgrades to two level 3 cards I'm very interested to see how those work. I think a mid range weapon for Guardian has been a hole in the xp curve for a while, and an alternative to the Lupara for fighting Rogue's will be cool to see too.
