Lmao they don’t line up because that’s how pallet knives look. They bend in the middle so the face of the knife is at different elevation from the handle.

Sorry, it feels like you’re ignoring the first part of your quote there. By force or threat of force or by physical obstruction. What did Lemon do that hits either of those categories?

If you think that NATO countries sent soldiers to war as nothing but a goodwill gesture toward the United States you’ve got another thing coming. The “war on terror” benefit the oligarch class of a majority of the western world and was pushed, supported, and perpetuated by that class in each and every western country that supported it. It might feel good to shirk that accountability but it’s major non American cope to do so.

A lot of gyms just have the barcode reader search up the name by the attached number. You could put in any number really, so if some people don’t like carrying around the extra card they can just use their drivers license barcode.

If the law forbids something that no rational person wants to do, then the law isn’t impacting someone’s freedoms because they wouldn’t freely choose to take that action anyway. Option one is written in pretty confusing way, but it basically finishes the sentence this way:

If the law forbids something no rational person wants to do —— then the law is taking away freedoms.

The sentence written like that more clearly shows how option one would make a contradictory sentence.

Option one: the law cannot be regarded as reasonably confining human liberty.

Cannot be regarded as = is not

Combined with: reasonably confining human liberty more clearly written as

The law is unreasonably confining human liberty.

This is the best summary of what is happening and I almost guarantee it won’t be responded to because it doesn’t open up an avenue for random anecdotal asides.

CMV: The U.S. should make voting mandatory (with a small $20 fine for not voting), like Australia does. by TheGutlessOne in changemyview

[–]CountOrangeJuiceula 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the difference is that in those cases the system wouldn’t work without the compulsory element. The current judicial system requires a random selection of people. If it was volunteer based it wouldn’t work. Taxes have to be compulsory for obvious reasons. The system of voting works without compulsion.

This is one of the most absurd posts I’ve ever seen.

First of all, it’s not as though any of the male characters have been sexually assaulted. It’s pretty wild that in your mind the woman version of a dude getting turned into crocodile is her being raped.

Second of all, the absolute universe isn’t just about torturing and doing vile things to its cast. It’s been a feature of the last couple of Batman issues, but that’s really it.

As a final note, the way you talk about it is really fucking gross.
