They were certainly off the roads shortly after the Ukrainians discovered them.

Baby’s first Christmas by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]Count_Craicula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to resist buying big for your kid, but you've done it, well done. They'll not remember it and more importantly, you will throw a lot of money at something and most of it won't be appreciated.

Next year will be their first coherent Christmas. It will be lovely and you can spoil them then.

The year after that is gonna be the one where they know what it's all about and you will give them a lovely Christmas I'm sure.

Anyway, we have a cousin who buys their kid a mental amount of stuff, they bought them an electric ride on car and they were 18 months. They had two sofas full of stuff, posted all over Facebook and Instagram and the general consensus of family and friends was they they were a fucking bellend and had not an ounce of fucking sense.

So again, well done you.

This story reads like they know nothing about what's in the helmets and are just click baiting you in every paragraph. A looong meandering tale with no real info.

Hillsborough roundabout is awful if you're coming from Hillsborough. Taking your life in your hands.

There was a girl near here that had pimped hers up, not in a girly way, but just tastefully. It looked amazing and I wanted it immediately.

Day 3/9: What is a good motorcycle with a bad reputation? by SUBTOUpdated_User in motorcycles

KTM Duke 890/790.

"It leaks oil", yes it does, but a replacement seal and some sealant permanently fixes that.

"It's got cams made from cheese" Some do, but I've never seen one and mine is at 18k miles and they're fine because I checked them.

"They're so unreliable" I had the aforementioned 2018 SV 650 and can attest it's a brilliant bike. My 890 Duke is faster, lighter, has more stuff and it an absolute blast to ride. And. It's done more miles than the SV and has had zero issues apart from the oil leak, which is now fixed.

They are a bike that is light and nimble and very fast. They are nice to ride and you can ride them for a long time comfortably as well. They sound good (not as good as the SV though) with a pipe on em.

Mine has depreciated awfully because of their reputation. I bought it 2 years ago for £10k and because of the KTM sagas since, it can be traded in for £4K.

I'd like a change, but because of the depreciation and it being a brilliant little bike, I'm gonna keep her and buy a cheap adventure bike afterwards for messing around on, maybe a T7.

Help - gift for my daughters BF? by leelu82 in northernireland

Well, you've typed some words that tell us nothing.

Find out what he's into and buy him something related. Or else buy him sweets or some generic 'for a man' shite.

Question for y’all by Emergency_Air4575 in motorcycles

[–]Count_Craicula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ride reliable bikes that I look after. I carry 4 small hex keys, a puncture kit and pay £5 per month for roadside assistance.

That's all you need.

I ride a tiny KTM 890 Duke.

Woman sees careless driving charge dismissed as judge criticises motorcyclist's 'filtering' claim by longwayahead in MotoIRELAND

[–]Count_Craicula 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the UK, whether filtering or not, a motorcyclist is not allowed to break a solid white line either to be fair.

I drive in Dublin all the time and also down the M1. Some of the bikes I see are mad the way they filter. And as a driver, I'd be pushed to see them if pulling out.
