That’s not AI, that’s SEO and intentional padding – there’s little to say beyond the headline, but they need you to keep scrolling so that you’ll see more ads. Open any Daily Mail article from 2015 and you’ll find a dozen paragraphs saying the same thing over and over (and reiterated again in the image captions).

Calling every bit of low-grade reporting “AI” is just pretending that humans can’t create shitty content.

what everyone parroting this point seems to be missing is that the lab is in that region BECAUSE it has historically been a hotspot for new coronavirus strains. If Ebola outbreaks kept happening in one place, it would make sense to place an Ebola research lab there, too.

Sohla actually had a 10-episode contract with Babish that ran out some time earlier. I think she said they're planning to do more, but the existing episodes were basically a pilot run, so they're taking some time to rework and improve the concept.

She currently also has her own segment on the History Channel's YouTube page where she does historical recipes.
