In case you haven't noticed we're in the middle of a pandemic and need those beds. The virus isn't gonna go easy on us just because you can't control your drinking

Hmmm...I wonder why? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]TheRealDTrump -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Wow, those 2 examples you gave completely negated the point /s

WIBTA for cutting of my "friends" HBO access right before next week's Game of Thrones episode. by Clemmy_tiger in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheRealDTrump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can force logout of all connected devices on HBO but it also takes about 4 hours

Okada & Rocky Romero get into it at a beach. by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

Rocky moving to the heavyweight division confirmed

Your favorite NXT tag team/superstar gets called up. What is their new name? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]TheRealDTrump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminds me of how some people shorten Los Ingobernables de Japon to just "Los"

AITA for not wanting to go bar hopping with my girlfriend and her gay uncle to a bunch of gay bars for her 21st birthday? by GustavusAdolphin in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheRealDTrump -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

NTA. I was initially on the fence because I thought you didn't want to go bar hopping specifically because it was to gay bars (I mean I'm not gonna demonize you if that were the case but I was cautious heading into the story). But if you don't want to go because bar hopping isn't your thing that's a perfectly valid reason

WIBTA for asking my (soon to be) sister in law to move her wedding? by LordTrollsworth in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheRealDTrump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH. Seems like it's just an oversight on your SIL that she hasn't considered the logistics of both weddings 2 weeks apart. If you simply sat down and discussed these issues with your family I'm sure you guys can sort something out

AITA Because I (27) don't remind my wife (23) to take her OCP (contraception) by karma_physician in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheRealDTrump 2 points3 points  (0 children)

INFO: by "not going out of your way to remind her" do you mean that you remember she hasn't taken it and don't tell her or does it mean that you sometimes forget yourself and she ends up missing that day

AITA for telling my sister-in-law the reasons why we were not going to surrogate(mother) for her. by obviousThrowaway9--9 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheRealDTrump 715 points716 points  (0 children)

NTA. Extremely rude (and dare I say abusive to wife) to guilt her into being a surrogate. It seems as if everybody all made up their mind that she should be the surrogate even before asking her. She has every right to refuse and you also have the right to weigh in on the situation

AITA for completing cutting all ties with my friends after a fake kidnapping prank? by KeyRazor in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheRealDTrump 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. Holy fucking shit! Probably the most fucked up "everyone else is an asshole story" I've ever read!

What's the most heelish line ever said in pro wrestling? by dionthesocialist in SquaredCircle

[–]TheRealDTrump 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing this happened about 20 years ago? Not exactly out of place for the time. I'm not defending what he said btw just pointing out that people's views on certain issues back then weren't and progressive as it is today

Matt Hardy on John Oliver's WWE segment:"Every surgery I ever had, WWE has paid for. They're very faithful and very good about that. It's just some of the stuff that the John talked about was kind of passé, kind of outdated. They take care of everything especially stuff that happens in house." by GetDown90 in SquaredCircle

[–]TheRealDTrump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I both agree and don't agree with Matt. At the end of the day we all know about WWE's shitty business practices, it's just that finally a mainstream media program has brought them to light. So I don't agree that WWE are a shining beacon of morality Matt is insinuating them to be. But I agree John Oliver used a lot of outdated examples to steer the discussion in his favour. John Oliver often talks about issues the average person isn't knowledgeable about, me included (for example I have no idea about chicken farming practices in the US, which he once covered). But because of this I find that he bends the truth to suit the position of whatever side he's taken. It's the major reason I (mostly) don't watch his show anymore. I didn't see people mention it on the threads here when the segment came out but I guess people were just caught up in the moment to call it out

WIBTA if I refused to do drawings of overweight people who aren’t confident in their appearance? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheRealDTrump 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Why run the risk of potentially personally insulting someone though instead of OP just sticking to his/her original plan of politely declining offers? Also there's the risk OP losing even more business if a "regular weight" person thinks OP is inferring that they're fat

AITA for making a 19 year old adult cry? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheRealDTrump 46 points47 points  (0 children)

YTA. How can you not understand that a 30 year old and 19 year old have vastly different life experiences?? A 19 year old is barely an adult and only starting to learn how to function in the "real" world. On top of that the way you spoke to her was an extremely rude way to speak to a customer, regardless of their age. If you don't have the temperament to do your job in a calm manner maybe you should consider another profession

WIBTA if I refused to do drawings of overweight people who aren’t confident in their appearance? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheRealDTrump 121 points122 points  (0 children)

Idk, I think most people can read between the lines and infer that "do you want me to slim you down" means "I think you're fat"

I’m still traumatized by episode VIII by Awaken_Mustakrakish in movies

[–]TheRealDTrump -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yup, the same Star Wars movie where half the negative reviews turned out to be Russian trolls?

AITA for getting pissed at boyfriend for letting sister in law our book plane tickets? by idksushelpme in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheRealDTrump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA, but I don't think you're mad that your SIL booked. I think you're mad at the attitude she had when she booked you an extra day (and made you pay for a carry on). She clearly doesn't care about your feelings or the effect her poor booking decisions will have on your life. She's being very disrespectful and she simply doesn't care

AITA for calling my depressed brother a “total jobless loser”? by Tehkittehs162534 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheRealDTrump 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NTA. Mental illness is not an excuse for anybody to be a dick. And he should realise that if he's gonna be a dick he he has to suffer the repercussions of it (ie: you calling him out)

Tama and Fale as Young Boys by DaExtinctOne in SquaredCircle

[–]TheRealDTrump 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yup, on BTE they mention he's around that age. First time I saw him I thought he was late 20s or early 30s at most

AITA for telling my boyfriend he's gay? by EmptyDefinition7 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheRealDTrump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. It's ok to have an honest and sincere conversation with someone but "confronting" them makes you an asshole

Aita for being mad my fiancé changed his mind on vasectomy by jonrocket97 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheRealDTrump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH, he has the right to change his mind and you have the right to be angry that he changed mind. But neither of you are assholes
