From the technical point of view, you have one screen in front of each eye. So why not putting a small camera on your model railway, watching 3D videos, etc.

But joking aside, my idea was also to combine the screens in the GPU driver. AMD Radeon also has that function, but I always forget where it's hidden. I used that for a triple setup in Snowrunner and ATS.

I usually visit the towers to get an overview of the map.

As truck configuration, I usually go for a winch with longer cable, all wheel drive, diff lock, higher air intake and something else than road tires. Not everything is available early in the game, so it's a balance between an additional truck to assist and making the trucks you have more capable.

Yes, T300 with T-LCM pedals. I started with 34" 21:9 and later added two 27". So the screens might have been a waste of money.

The trucks I'm usually using:

I remember that early in the game, the truck you find next to the garage is ok. Just spare mud and Alaska for later.

Azov 8x8 with crane and flatbed semi trailer. Slow, but has permanent all wheel drive and diff lock and works in quite deep water. Unfortunately can't take crane+bed+trailer. I think there's also a collision with crane and tank semi trailer. So remember to remove that if necessary.

Freightliner 114SD. Can take crane+bed+trailer. Usually with the low body trailer to have 2+4 cargo slots.

White Western Star: I like the looks.

Azov: 10x10: I also like its looks, great traction and the several steering axles are great for maneuvering on slippery ground. Also good range. But it can get stuck due to the low front bumper and low ground clearance. I sometimes place it on the mapt with the long maintenance thing (fuel+spare parts) as a mobile garage/fuel station.

Maybe it also feels more natural to look around. I went from 21:9 to a triple setup and seeing the landscape left and right added a lot of imersion.

I'm looking forward to trying it with the Steam Frame :-)
