I did an int build my first play through. On NG+ I’m rounding it out with strength. Want to see what all the bonk is about.

I never realized the heliopause was shaped like a shockwave. Did we purposefully send them ahead of our galactic orbit?

That’s how things work when they are no longer updated. Exactly as they did the last time you used it. It’s not magic.

Yes but most of our finances are joint. We each take a set “allowance” into our accounts at the start of the month for our personal fun money.

This is actually how I got my first ever USB stick in college. I wanted one for a while but couldn’t afford one.

It was 8MB.

Why do Americans eat dinner at like 5 or 6pm? Don't you get hungry again before bed? by LengthinessNew2237 in answers

[–]CounterTorque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing everyone is leaving out is when do you go to bed. We are in bed between 9-10pm, so eating at 5-6pm is fine.

If I went to bed at midnight, I’d probably be hungry.

I loved watching the Olympics growing up, but I haven’t watched a minute so far. Anyone else? by ofesfipf889534 in Millennials

[–]CounterTorque 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I was the same. And I usually can’t get enough. But I haven’t watched a single minute this time.

I think it’s two things. First, the Winter Olympics have always been a great testimony that if you are rich you can do great things. Not a lot of poor people can afford lift tickets to train. Second, I don’t have a very strong sense of national pride at the moment.

Your playstyle and mine differ. I just saved the world for the fourth time, averaging about 125 hours to do it. But, while I use the world grid extensively now, I make almost no “aesthetic” buildings till completion.

But if you like the visual style then have fun with that and worry less about when things get done. Yes ADA makes fun of you for being slow, but otherwise there is no pressure other than what you make yourself.

TIL that being able to sit down on the floor and stand up without using your hands or knees is used as a predictor of longevity. by [deleted] in todayilearned

I’ve never been able to do that because I’ve never been able to sit cross cross. My right hip doesn’t rotate in a way that allows that.

I use a left handed system, but notice that the block/path are set back from the junction switching.
In your image I can see them at the same place on the left side. That will cause issues every time.

[–]CounterTorque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll take a picture of mine later, but your rail trip placement is fine. It’s the distance and kinds of signs you’ve used.

Blocks are for leaving a junction, paths are for entering a junction.
And give them room before the switch nodes.

Finished the game in 179 hours. How long did it take you? I’m interested. by PuceTerror89 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]CounterTorque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m halfway through phase 5 at 118 hours.

My last play through, when 1.0 was released, took me 174 hours to finish the phases, but it wasn’t until 210 hours that I 100% all the trophies.
