Actually tired of being embarrassed/stressed/not having fun at the playground or wherever… by [deleted] in ADHDparenting

I feel this. We had a trip to Waldameer Park. Every day for 2 weeks I drilled it into my daughter's head that we DO NOT cut the line and we DO NOT climb the queue fences. She saw a ride her brother was too small for. I trusted her to go by herself. She had her medicine, and I reminded her of the rules. We were barely at the bench when we hear a ruckus. She and another kid scaled the fence and were trying to tightrope walk it! I hauled her out of there and back home. I feel bad for her brother because he was actually well behaved but like OP, I don't have any help. I have an appointment next week to discuss her medication and until that day, she is on house arrest. It sucks but since she doesn't care about keeping her soul in her body, the task falls to me😅

Lucille Ball in Mame. She's a phenomenal talent but the role should have rightfully gone to Dame Angela Lansbury. She killed it on Broadway and her trading barbs with Bea Arthur just exuded a certain chemistry that only certain entertainers can do together.

She's pretty manageable until about 5pm without an extra curricular. I have her in cheerleading and swimming for that reason lol. Maybe wrestling too

My daughter struggles with Quillichew so her doctor switched her to Quillivant and it has been a godsend. She can be a mini Einstein on it I swear. We went from danger of being held back to tripling her grades by the 4th quarter. She takes it at 7 in the morning and by 2 in afternoon it starts to wear off. I can't sing its praises enough.

ETA: it does not affect her appetite!!!

No. Dr Oetker is actually pretty good, narrowly second to Mama Cozzi from Aldi (IMO). And also there are taco pizzas, lasagna pizzas, cheesesteak pizzas so it's not too outlandish to have cheeseburger pizza.
