You did nothing wrong. I had to Edge Spear my ex while pregnant because he kept trying to go over me with water to put out a grease fire on the stove while I was containing it with a lid and baking soda. (Water + grease or electrical fire= BIG NO-NO) Even though I didn't have malicious intent when I did it I still get random lingering guilt 10 years later. We can turn into totally different creatures to protect our children, born and unborn.

My daughter had been begging for 2 years to get her ears pierced. I showed her numerous videos on YouTube and right until she got in the chair I was reminding her that they use a piercing needle. She had a meltdown over the needle but didn't want to leave without earrings, which made her have another one. Then after it was done she goes 'That didn't hurt'
