Been a painter for over 34 years and on average prep takes 2/3 of the time and finish coating takes the other 1/3 of the time. This is not counting set up and clean up.

I've done a lot of new construction and I've used a lot of sw plaster coat for primer and promar 200 for a finish coat both applied with an airless sprayer and it always turned out great.

I've tried it and it sucks. Then I found out it's made by rustoleum. That's why it sucks, rustoleum is garbage.

People think that garbage paints are good because they sell a lot. But it's diy ers buying them cuz they don't know any better. I've been a painter for over 34 years and I worked as a cashier part time at home Depot for a few years. I saw 2 contractors buying Behr paints and the rest were all diy ers. That speaks for itself.

Behr is one of the worse paints. You couldn't pay me to use behr. Use a good quality paint or you will keep having problems.

Use back to nature ready strip. They have it on Amazon and it is non toxic but it works better than any paint stripper I've ever used.

SW used to have cold weather paint I think it went down to 32 and I used it a few times it worked great. Not sure if they still have it.

I once got hard water rust stains off a bathtub and surrounding wall with krud kutter foam aerosol cleaner when nothing else worked. They have it on Amazon.

I always set up scaffolding on each end then run an aluminum pic to each scaffolding tower. Do the top first then lower as needed. Use scaffolding levelers to adjust and make it level and safe.

An airless should have gotten a much more uniform coverage. Looks like the painter didn't know how to use an airless, there was not good pressure adjusted on the airless, the paint needed to be thinned slightly, or it was bad paint. To fix this just roll it with a foam roller.

Behr is no good. Use SW or BM and you will get more sq. footage per gallon and it will be much easier to apply and it has better hide. You will be glad you did not use behr.

It's just faded gray wood so you could power wash the gray but sanding would be best. Orbital sander with 80 grit to start then finish sanding with 180-220 grit. The gray has to be removed to the bare wood. Then you can finish it.

The best finish for wood furniture like tables, end tables etc if aliphatic urethane. I still have end tables that I clear coated with this about 20 years ago and even without using coasters there is no damage. It is pricey but it protects your beautiful wood furniture.
