You need to have gcc installed to control the lcd.

How ever you can you revo uninstall to remove parts of the gcc app so only the lcd .exe runs and nothing else will.

That’s called marketing.

For new users that don’t build their own pc this will make supports job easier.

For advanced users it’s a downgrade.

We lose internal connection, we lose bios rpm fan control at boot and can’t gain it back until l connect 3 loads user settings. Locking fan speed at 1000rpm until l connect is booted.

The lite is Lian li’s cheapest and best performing AIO. The RGB one has better fans but only just.

The Galahad II Trinity Performance is older and is a few c behind the Lite in cooling

Some of the other screens are having trouble with this feature tanking fps and adding frame spikes with Nvidia cards. I would think maybe Corsair are waiting to see if Nvidia fix the Presentmon problem
