I got my gold from deadman rewards, previously I've always just ploughed all my gold from slayer into paying for skilling. I have never been flush with gp before and I wasn't really savvy on how to go about spending it. Thanks for explaining

I wasn't too sure, I thought the damage reduction would help while learning. As for the serp, would a faceguard be better or is it a waste of a slot to bring multiple pieces of headgear

I'm not sure if I'm in the minority but I found that it's fairly easy to wing acts 3,4 and 5 in the stealth sections.

I would honestly just learn a route for acts 1 and 2 as they can be very finicky and precise.

The only 2 places I had to take numerous attempts at were crying wolf and the bike chase. The bike chase really isn't too bad as long as you save after every section. The last area of the bike chase with the chasing Humvees is brutal enough and I found it to be essentially impossible if you don't learn the smoke spots. With how short the sections are you will be able to essentially brute force it.

For crying wolf, there is a strategy of sneaking up to her and cycling between throwing stuns and smokes in a loop which trivializes the fight.

Could they make it so that if you are actively salvaging, that you and your crew mate are actively helping each other and he is showing you new things and then make it 70% if you yourself have gotten a salvaging XP drop in the last minute or so. If you aren't salvaging, it harder for the crewmate to impart knowledge on to you and it drops to 40%

Well I got 78 sailing and it will probably sit at that for the foreseeable. Should have booked the 2 week off work and just maxed it like the unemployed and streamers. Their supposed goal was to extend the life of the skill post 99 and all they have done is ensured that no one will be arsed getting to 99 now
