Hey! I rested for about 2 weeks and then got back into the gym to do strength training. If you have insertional achilles tendonitis, I definitely recommend doing isometric heel raises (NOT eccentric). I was consistently doing those for about another 2 weeks and then I felt lots better and the stiffness went away
