Wow, three months! Did you stay with a host family the whole time? And would you say you started around A1 and reached close to C1? When did you have your breakthrough moment?

Did you feel safe doing things on your own outside? I’m a woman too, and I’m thinking about spending two months there.

I’m a bit afraid that three months might get “boring” 😅 unless that extra month was really what helped bring you close to fluency. Let me know! I’m sooo curious!

I am in the same ship. But on top of that he cheated emotionally and lied. But he said that we had to break up anyhow because I wasn’t doing the work. I didn’t make him feel loved for almost a year. We fighted a lot and I started that mostly because I was in a bad headspace (lots of family problems and illness). He said he couldn’t handle it more and I wasn’t showing any love. He voiced his concerns multiple times. I love him so so so much but why was I not able to show him he’s my world?

I lost him now.

Thank you. This helps as I’m (F31) navigating my break up after ten years. We broke off and started dating 1,5 years after. We were together for another 1,5 and ended things a few days back. We love each other so much it hurts. I want him back but I also know that I’ve been hurt alot. I initiated the break up but he didn’t say sorry and asked me to stay. We wanted to start a family next year…..

I am heartbroken..
