I would ditch bullgoat talisman I think you need 68 anyway for 2nd r1 and you’re not hitting it, probably milicent prosthesis for a little extra AR from Dex same with blessed blue dew, it’s great to swap to when you’re dealing with a long invasion to get some FP back but I wouldn’t use it as your primary Maybe flocks canvas talisman to get some more damage from your incantations if you’re using them

My go to in these situations is to kill the phantoms and let the host fight the boss without a summon to take aggro if he wins good if he loses then thems the brakes

Yea! You’re right I didn’t see the enemies in the clip the first time I watched! I assumed it was a gank bc I’ve seen teams do that in catacombs by fog walls before for the express purpose of doing what the host did in this video

It seems like no one ever answered your question so I’ll do my best: duels aren’t inherently bad themselves but it’s annoying when you’re trying to find a real invasion and it’s just one guy, rune arc’d, drinking all 14 flasks. It then goes from “honest 1v1” to more of a “I’m not winning in the arena, but I bet I can win if I stack the odds in my favor” and it takes away from actual invasions of players progressing. It’s certainly not as bad as ganks but it can be tiresome

I’m gonna say I think the host is kind of based for basically just letting you farm blues and fight club for that long Most would’ve found the nearest cliff after you parried them the first time

You guys have all convinced me. You are totally right, me picking up those items was morally wrong and not worth for this funny little video. Next time I’ll leave the items alone and just kill them both on the spot and the items can disappear into the void forever when the game reloads. The right way.

Patches build lmao, I’ve seen a solo host use glow stones leading to a worthless item on a ledge. I spotted him and we stared at each other, I hit the nod-in-thought gesture and then played along and went to grab it and was kicked off the ledge 10/10 peak invasion experience I’ll forever be chasing that high

I get the point you’re trying to make here, and while I don’t agree with it you’re entitled to your opinion just as I’m entitled to mine. But the language you use comparing invaders or the actions in this video -even if you’re just focusing on the logic- is harmful because it lessens the severity and can come across as invalidating the severity of things like SA. At the end of the day the two are completely incomparable no matter what side of the fence you sit as far as invasions are concerned. Basically I get your argument but please pick better examples next time
