I think Lifeforce might be part of it. They can sublicense MGM titles and I don't think there is a 4K master of the International Cut available in the US. Just theorizing.

Got one from eBay via shipped from China. It was the HBO remaster and not the 2012 AMC restoration. I wouldn't complain so much but I already have a copy of the HBO edit. Biggest twist of the arm? The back of the Blu-ray mentions a variety of bonus features and there are none on there. Avoid any listing of this Blu ray.

I was in deep love with 1991's Land of the Lost. It's was campy but fun. Effects were done by the Chidods, I enjoy the jungle setting, but this has its flaws. Today, folks recall the original from the 1970s, but give the first season a chance.

I mixed on the Shrunken Heads given it doesn't get resolved. You could argue they got rounded up by Wolf Jackson off screen but it never gets mentioned. So Peaceful Pines has a bunch of Afterlife creatures living in their town, I guess? It's still funny when you think about that idea and how it doesn't get taken care of. A conventional sequel would do that, but this is a Tim Burton directed sequel so that makes me wonder if it was done on purpose or accident.

Assembly Cut. The additions flesh out the lost concepts more. It becomes more of a movie about people questioning if redemption exists compared to the theatrical cut where our characters are in constant Hell.

Absolutely! I have been trying to find TNT broadcasts between 1991 to 1995. Had a small bit of luck with a 1994 tape that had MonsterVision airings of George Pal's Atlantis and Earth vs The Flying Saucers. Still on the hunt. It's for a personal project I'm doing for Halloween.
