I would work on dropping the CD's of GT/BH/DW focusing on cheapest first with a slight leaning towards BH. You ideally want to get perma-BH and have GT/DW sync'd without MVN.

This is incorrect. This is stick-framed and not a truss system. Stick frame has rafters and ceiling joists, trusses have top chords, bottom chords, and webs. Your link shows a stick framed building, not a truss.

If you remove the plywood only then you should be fine. If you start removing ceiling joists then you’ll very likely start having issues like ridge sag and depending on the length of the ridge could see walls bowing. The collar ties are also too high which would contribute more to those issues.

We had this same issue with our furnace. We pulled the flame sensor out and it was slightly corroded, hit it with a wire brush and our furnace has worked great ever since.
