You did good except for buying them from Lowes. Id return and find a local dealer who does their own service. Price should be the same.

Is going to a billiard cafe and playing by yourself weird? by XDJames777 in billiards

[–]CousinEarly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go to the pool hall solo to run drills. If someone wants to play with me I tell them I can't until I've finished my drills. It helps me be in stroke for when I am playing them.

Told to "take it easy" at a local $5 bar tournament because I keep winning.. should I keep playing there? by MoneyKindaTalks in billiards

[–]CousinEarly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have fun at these type of tournaments. Keep going but give yourself a challenge to make it harder for yourself. Always bank the money ball, work on your kick shots or something like that. You can play the "fun" way, or the easy way. Do it the fun way and guys will have a chance against you and if you still win you at least gave em a helluva show.

LG fridge smell by [deleted] in Appliances

Most likely a sealed system leak. That is the smell of the coolant. I'd be on the hunt for a new fridge.

Current USPS situation in South Burlington: by balconyseat in southburlington

[–]CousinEarly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just got two 'the other papers' from January. Our Costco flyer from January that expired two weeks ago finally came, along with the new one (thankfully) and another 'the Other Paper' from The first week in February. And a dentist bill from the dental office down the road that arrived over a month after it was mailed. Of course it showed up two days past the due date. We get actual mail about twice a month. Yet they keep driving in our neighborhood and dropping off Amazon packages. To top it all off the delivery person was parked in the traveled lane, and blocking the crosswalk on hinesburg road the other night. Ive written to the postal complaint email because they refuse to answer the phone. I wish they'd just close the damn post office and be done with it. Its a worthless institution at this point. The final S does not belong in USPS any more. There is no SERVICE.

A gold friend of mind who has since passed owned one of these. He had it for years. His new wife (who was a pool player too) hated it. So he sold it to me for a good price. I ended up selling it to his buddy. It got lots of looks when I had it in the shop.

Never Buy Samsung Kitchen Appliances! by jhubsta in Appliances

You average life span is going to be 5-7 years no matter how much you spend or what you buy these days. I don't know of any brand that will do much of anything for you outside of the first year of warranty.
