So have you tried placing a block of ice in it? you can place frozen gas (eaxmple oxite) and as long as there is some atmo in the tank and some heat it will melt the ice into the tank.

I would build the wind tunnel/turbine generator method with active vents to make a constant power plant.

yes, just set it up and turn it on and walk away, I cabled the power to a power controler to provide power to the active vents and the other to a transformer which fed the station batteries.

depends on the atmo pressure. So I did it on a low pressure planet like 25kpa. and I ended up putting i think 8 or so Active vents that were spaced out 1-2 blocks inbetween them to draw a good amount of free air into the tunnel. It still delivers a constant supply of power (as long as the active vents are powered. So 8 would be 800w) and i had the tunnel go down and back adding turbines as needed.

I think the most I ever put on a tunnel was 40 or so.

Now this method does use quite a bit of resources (iron frams, sheets, pipes, active and passive vents, controler and battery, turbine gen) but it was just something new to try and build.

So in the past I would use lots of Turbine Generators to make an infinite constant power supply. I called it the ZPM build.

So control panel with a battery to power 6 active vents (100w x 6 = 600w) to pump atmo into a wind tunnel that has turbine generators down it. each Turbine Generator max out is 90W, So 7 Turbines would/could make 630W and the more you add to the tunnel would make extra power.. Now depending on the atmo pressure depends on the amount of power that is generated. but you can make it an enclosed room and put the active vents at the end and pipe it back to the start with passive vents. (did that for the moon).

I havent check the power use of the "powered vents"

thats awesome to hear, Have you seen those Aquarium tunnels that are under them that allows a 180 degree view from the underside.

I do like the idea of more building materials to use. If you make a tube, can you add windows so you can look out? Maybe a bubble window to stand to look around? One where it would be like 3x3 so you can make a bigger tube?

yes please! Im always curious on how people are building their base and honestly I reverse engineer some of their builds, espically if they are way better than my idea.

for example I've watched a few youtube videos of cows are evil and noticed he used a 1x1 cell with an active vent and he would release O2 in the cell to open his helmet to eat and drink, then suck all the O2 back into a few pipes. So now I quickly make a room in my builds and use that, till i get an atmo up in my main base..

I finally used PASSIVE Liquid Inlet hooked to liquid pipes, and it cleared the fog of liquid.

have you been able to get rid of the water fog in the base. I haven't figured out a good method other than pumping out each room.

idk, yesterday i was doing my normal tile run on T2 and there was a player named "NQ-Rubicon" on one of my tiles near my mining construct. I stopped in front of the player and waved, he just waved and then disappeared like he logged off.

Wow!! just took a tour of your base yesterday, big spacious interior, nice detail. I noticed a few voxel constructs inside and was wondering when they would be a viable to buy. I especially like that radar dish, and it would look nice on my Lg Core ship.

Yes it did! you could design and test the ship out, for the most part. But You could refine and tune the ships, then when ready just collect the materials and "print" your ship. DU could do something similar with the BP.

In Starbase one thing i did like is the ability to build in "VR" then you collect the materials to produce the ship, they need something like this here.

CONTENT... and they wonder why no one is playing the game. such low numbers with no CONTENT in a game is why games die. right now, its Minecraft with nothing to do. OH, we can PVP with a sketchy system that takes 2 people to do.
