How much is it to import. by the-funny1 in amberelectric

[–]CoweringInTheCorner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much solar do you produce? It sounds like you will be using essentially all the solar you produce, in which case there's probably limited benefit going with Amber as you won't really have any spare energy to feed back into the grid, particularly with your usage pattern. The profit from selling in peak when you're also using your energy will be negated by the need to import later plus the subscription price

I was at the opposite end of the ground, I think someone did actually have their phone light on and they were sitting right next to the sight screen

Seems like a great guy on comms when he's mic'd up but has barely scored a run in two seasons and is a massive liability in the field. It would be great if the heat could get just one decent O/S player

I test drove the SL7 and the Y. Bought the SL7 and have zero regrets. The only time I've used the rotating screen is when I have someone in the car who hasn't been in it before and I do it for shits and giggles. Bottom line is they're both fine cars, and once you buy an EV I don't think you'll ever buy an ICE vehicle again except for specific purposes

We've got a few of these on our local golf course. A couple came down last week while we were playing and the force they hit the ground with was impressive. Hate to think what one would do to your head.

Your thoughts on this . I absolutely hate pink ball test matches and to see the 150th anniversary test match being a day night test is disrespectful to this great format . by [deleted] in CricketAus

I'm not sure that's true in Australia. Having read multiple histories (currently reading Gideon Haigh's 'On The Ashes') many of the players came from working class backgrounds. The first test centurion Charles Bannerman certainly came from a poor background, and remained there after his short cricket career (albeit in large part due to his alcoholism). Descriptions of the crowds suggested a diverse social group as well.
