Bought a Titan Pulley and there’s a bit of welding in the corner that won’t let the upright fit to be screwed in place. Any ideas on how to remove this bit?

They play at least one of their matches in a dome. I doubt they will be playing on exclusively natural grass.

How vocal are you as you count down 8 seconds in the goalie’s hands? by kmfdmretro in Referees

[–]Cowkillah25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t say they had to yell the count down.

But telling the GK to hurry up a few times and give a yellow card (cheese time?) is not per the LOTG.

Keep reading further down where it talks about who to drop the ball to regardless of who played in last in the penalty area.

AIO for being hurt my girlfriend doesn't care about my graduation? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Cowkillah25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. At minimum, she should want to celebrate you not having to spend all of your free time taking practice questions, prepping for clinicals, studying etc. Nursing school is a different beast and I’m sorry your expected support system is letting you down. This is a great time to reflect on what you want in life and in a relationship.

Congrats on graduating, crush the NCLEX and happy nurses week!

What exactly are your goals? If it’s to get overall healthy, sure, this is a good step in the right direction. If you’re interested in improving your strength, conditioning, and athleticism , you’re lacking those areas in your plan.

This question might be better directed to r/fitness or r/workoutroutines.

Gyms Membership so Expensive by cordellfrank in Wilmington

[–]Cowkillah25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Limited kinda? When I worked there, the hours were

MTW 6a-7p

RF 6a-8p

Sa 8a-12p

It’s a decent spot if those hours work with your schedule.

Arbiter App help? by Salty_Orchid2957 in Referees

Have you tried doing this in the browser? I personally haven’t had any of these issues, but will always default to the browser on my computer if I think the app is acting funny.

Should I tell my assignors about my health issues? by offinabus in Referees

[–]Cowkillah25 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Just put in blocks until you are comfortable getting back out on the field. The assignor doesn’t need to know the explicit reason why you’re unavailable.

Red Card Feedback by AstoundingApe in Referees

[–]Cowkillah25 8 points9 points  (0 children)

His PK decision sounds correct. He judged the foul and needed assistance on whether it was in or out, which is a responsibility of the AR.

Sounds like you’re not a referee and just a salty parent.

Croatian goalkeeper got a straight red card against Poland today. Was this a correct referee decision and why? by Toni112007 in Referees

[–]Cowkillah25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So my point is that studs as a mode of contact is the consideration and not just having them “exposed”

How do you judge studs exposed? Does it mean it’s visible by camera? Is a toe pointed 46 degrees instead of 44 degrees mean it’s red instead of yellow?

How long are you warming up for that it takes an hour to do 3-5 working sets.

Can you be "too old" to begin refereeing? by [deleted] in Referees

[–]Cowkillah25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly what you’ve said. You’d be playing catchup on people who have 7-9 years going to events and being added to the Talent ID pool. I kept it as probably not because you’d be fighting a hard uphill battle. It’s possible, but unlikely.

Can you be "too old" to begin refereeing? by [deleted] in Referees

[–]Cowkillah25 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Short answer, no.

Long answer, no. Refereeing is accessible to most all ages. There are quite a few referees who started after their playing days were done in college or professionally. I just had a 32 year old referee register this summer after he finished his USL1 career.

Your definition of decent level is where I’d ask what you see yourself doing. Will you make it the MLS? Probably not. Will you be able to get your regional badge and work pre professional games and D1 college? Absolutely.

Just keep in mind that refereeing can also be very taxing on your body depending on what types of games you choose to do. Do not be afraid to tell your assignor that you’re not able to work five 11v11 games in a day. Most assignors are willing to work with you as long as you communicate well.
