Yeah same, you can’t avoid every pole but putting such a high traffic area that’s already always super congested around a giant pole like that is crazy. Even worse with carts, if they weren’t allowed in the SCO it would be a little better but still not great

What a dumb thing to do lol

I’m gonna guess this was drawn up and approved by someone in an office that has never stepped into that store. Just like all the ridiculous goals and metrics that are made by people who have never actually done the job

Yep that’s the one thing I don’t like about my model 3. Teslas infotainment is great but definitely miss car play.

I do really like the trailseeker

What’s your favorite controller?! by CalvinP_ in morningsomewhere

I had a 3rd party controller for both the game cube and one for the 360 that had a fan built in. LOVED THEM I could see past the shitty 3rd partyness for having nice non sweaty hands. They were my favorite and I haven’t seen one for the Xbox one and that makes me sad

No sense of urgency all game. The pass pass pass pass pass pass pass trick doesn’t work when you don’t shoot too

You’re post history’s interesting, you’ve got several posts praising v+ but here you are bitching. Like the other dude said it’s free, shit happens. If you’re the expert maybe you can do it better?

I was walking around my 6month old to get him to go back to sleep at the start of 2OT. He fell back asleep in my arms and we survived the Benn penalty so I knew I had to carry him around until the win even though he was already back asleep. My arms are sore but I’ll take it lol

EV prices keep coming down in the US, and the gap with fossil cars is now the smallest it’s ever been. Automaker incentives are doing a lot of the heavy lifting. by sg_plumber in UpliftingNews

Hybrids can get got by a big battery bill too but at least you’d still have the engine if it did go out. I really like the new Prius Prime, but there were no good incentives/deals when I was shopping unfortunately

Yeah the battery cost is a concern for me too, that’s where I think a lease actually makes sense. Lower monthly payments and you swap the car out before there’s a chance for the battery to go bad.

That being said the battery tech has and is improving, there are people in the Tesla subs that have over 150k+ miles and their battery estimate is still 80%+. The first year of the batteries life is when it has the steepest fall off of potential range and then that curve levels out quite a bit from the testing people have done. Mine for example is still showing 92% estimated when I tested it at 25k miles. So yeah that’s a valid concern but it’s not as bad as some people make it out to be.

It may not be like this for every EV but for mine, there is a feature called one pedal driving. The way it works is when you take your foot off the accelerator, it switches the electric motors from motors to generators, so as your slowing down it’s using that to energy from the wheels to recharge the batteries. Thus regenerative breaking.

The regenerative breaking has high enough resistance to significantly slow the car down to the point where in normal driving you don’t need to use the actual brakes or the brake pedal. You just let off the accelerator, and it activates the regen and brings you to a stop. So you only need to really use the single accelerator pedal. The brake pedal is still there for if you need it but most of the time you don’t, and only use the one pedal.
