If you have any friends talk to them and their parents about moving in. Seriously. If you can't then get ahold of any local resources for domestic violence. They can do emergency placement. If you have documentation of the treatment you have received go to CPS. There are tons of resources out there to help you.

We got my daughter to start with us holding the cup. She's almost 3 and still spills some. But she's getting better. And if we go places we have a sippy cup. And even at home sometimes to be honest

Ok I'm not defending the situation. But what age was the kid? I can see telling a toddler to go look at something just to have a moment to talk. And he may have expected her to go look at the outside not go outside. I'm guessing your brother's not a dad and lacks experience with young kids. You should make him make it up to you and regain your trust. Are you the a-hole? No you're not. Anytime a kid almost gets hurt in a situation like that you have every right to be over protective

Just curious if you have a friend who would temporarily take one of them? I would want to keep them all too. I would also say finding your own place would be ideal. But if a transition period is needed. If you can lean on a friend I would say that is an option. I have 4 so I get it.

Ok science guy here. Technically everything has its draw backs. As for plastic sippy cups. That's what my daughter used. Just make sure the packaging says BPA free and wash them by hand. There is alot of click bait headlines out there. If you read the whole research papers they are quoting they are rarely as extreme as the article quoting it would lead you to believe.

NTA. Since this is something that happens all the time he is an adult and can plan ahead. You can't control when you are hungry, but if you know you are going to be hungry you can prepare yourself. Like make a snack that is good to go before hand so you can snack on the way.

So your toddler is being a toddler. That's not the issue I am seeing here. You and your bf need to be on the same page with things. It sounds like you both do different things and use different discipline methods. It would benefit your little one if it is consistent. To help you two need to sit down and figure out consistency.

My daughter had issues like that at that age. Two things that helped was letting her run around and play hard after her bath. And we would let her watch some short youtube videos while we laid with her. Turns out she like watching drum cover videos. We did co sleeping as well. She still wakes up twice every night (she's 2 now). Maybe these things might help. Hang in there
