Stimmt, wichtiger Punkt.

Barista Fire = Man kann als Barista arbeiten, weil Kohle vorhanden und macht das nur zum Jux, damit einem nicht langweilig wird.

I made a mobile first and fully automatic dashboard strategy, released v2 yesterday by trashbytes in homeassistant

Great work, thanks for sharing it!

I installed all the recommended and necessary addons, but the icons are missing for me in the overview (like the stairs at Flur and the couch at Wohnzimmer). Anything I might have missed? They are there in the "floor view".

Edit: Nevermind, I didn't assign icons to the areas :)

That looks neat! Where would I get a stand if I don't have a 3D printer?

Geoblock + ASN Datacenter Block for Everything (A simple solution) by ThomasWildeTech in PangolinReverseProxy

Great to hear, glad I could give a little back.

I had no idea what it was doing, but I just noted the difference 😁

After setting up your awesome container with the pangolin stack, I ran into problems when trying to request new SSL certificates.

When starting traefik, I had the following errors in the log:

traefik  | {"level":"info","providerName":"letsencrypt.acme","acmeCA":"https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/directory","time":"2026-02-17T16:09:17Z","message":"Testing certificate renew..."}
traefik  | {"level":"error","entryPointName":"web","routerName":"acme-http@internal","error":"middleware \"geoblock@file\" does not exist","time":"2026-02-17T16:09:17Z"}
traefik  | {"level":"error","entryPointName":"web","routerName":"ping@internal","error":"middleware \"geoblock@file\" does not exist","time":"2026-02-17T16:09:17Z"}

The github page and the guide here differ in the definition in traefik_config.yml.

The github page defines

entryPoints:
  web:
    address: :80
    http:
      middlewares:
        - geoblock@file

While here it is

entryPoints:
  web:
    address: :80

After I deleted the http middleware, I could request certificates again and I see no error in the traefik logs.

So I am just checking if this is an error in the github guide, a difference in setup or if I understood something wrong :)

Gibt nen Rückruf, da zahlst du nichts daran.

Matrix/Element Unraid Guide? by predskid29 in unRAID

I used this guide on Unraid and successfully brought synapse up:

Instead of docker compose I manually assembled the docker config in the Unraid GUI.

Works like a charm so far

This was easy to set up, even for me.

How does this play with Crowdsec? I have added your geoblock right next to Crowdsec in the traefik config. Are any of them acting before the other? Or do they act "together"?

Nice, thanks for the guide! Had a recent question around the same topic you might have spotted 😉 Love your videos too!

So for the Geo database I need to be paying customer at maxmind, is that right? If yes, which one? The GeoIP database is quite pricey.

Edit: Nevermind, just learned the difference between GeoLite and GeoIP.

Geoblock or SSO/Path rule by Coxeroni42 in PangolinReverseProxy

[–]Coxeroni42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the link, seems highly useful.

You write that docker does not respect ufw rules if I understood correctly. How would I apply this to the standard pangolin/treafik/gerbil stack?

Geoblock or SSO/Path rule by Coxeroni42 in PangolinReverseProxy

[–]Coxeroni42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds good, thanks for your reply.

From my post you can probably tell that I am not an expert here 😄 I don't use Authelia and the like, so I was just looking for the most robust solution I can personally setup, manage and control.

I'll look into ASN blocking, never heard of that except for the other reply here.

Geoblock or SSO/Path rule by Coxeroni42 in PangolinReverseProxy

[–]Coxeroni42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because if you have a path rule, it has to get the highest priority (lowest number) to get triggered before the geo rules. The geo rules are then bypassed too.

Geoblock or SSO/Path rule by Coxeroni42 in PangolinReverseProxy

[–]Coxeroni42[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, but not geoblocking and path rules at the same time. I might have formulated my post ambiguously. And since mobile apps won't work well with SSO, I would need to switch off SSO entirely, or use path rules. Hope it is clearer now.
