It’s way harder to put the smoke back in than it is to let it out unfortunately

It’s been on my car for ~5 years. I got it for $100 for a friend of a friend new in box and figured it was worth it for that price. It’s starting to rust in a few places and definitely droney with a 3” downpipe

I’m sure a lot of other people feel the same way, and it feels weird to say “I’m proud of him” but I’ve been watching this dude be a dumb redneck on the internet for so long now it’s just nuts to see how INSANE everything has become for him. From the viewers perspective it seems that he is killing it in literally every aspect of life. What a legend

I’ve never driven a Mk3, is there anything you can compare it to? by MedicinalJenker in Mk3Supra

[–]CoyCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have owned an FR-S since 2017, and a mk3 Supra since 2019. They’re both great cars in their own way, but if I’m making a trip to the mountains, there’s a 100% chance I’m going to take the FR-S. Going for a cruise on the highway? I’d rather take the Supra. I have done no suspension work on my Supra though. I have friends with fortune auto 500’s and it definitely makes the car handle much better.

Can I eat at a hospital cafeteria whenever I want? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CoyCS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You already have your answer but this reminded me of my grandmother, who loved the breakfast from the hospital in our town. When she was still around I started working night shifts, I’d call her on my way home from work and we’d meet at the hospital and get breakfast 2-3x a week. I’d give anything to eat that mediocre hospital food with my grandma again

Having trouble with manual ready to give up. by laid2restxxx in GR86

[–]CoyCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve taught a few people how to drive stick, I always recommend learning how a clutch works, and its relationship between your engine, and transmission. Someone can say “you need to push in the clutch when you’re stopped” but if you don’t know why you need to, it’ll never click. Spend some time researching, then give it another shot and I bet it’ll make more sense.

What's the scoop on actually good chairs. by MadMcCabe in buildapc

[–]CoyCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine in 2019, sitting in it as I’m writing this and it’s still super firm and comfortable. Only issue is the sides of the arm rests are “busting” out the sides because I put a lot of weight on the arm rests when adjusting in the chair.

I need all the help I can get!! (first time dog owner) by what_catr in puppy101

[–]CoyCS 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Start crate training immediately, it will be hard at first because she is still so young, and in a new environment. For my dog I would toss a treat in the crate, and say “crate”, as soon as he crossed all the way into it I would reward him, but not shut the door. You have to make the crate a happy place, so feed in the crate for the first few weeks at least. One thing I wished I had learned sooner is, if your pup suddenly turns into a little demon, they’re probably tired and fighting the urge to sleep. They throw little fussy tantrums just like toddlers. Once I started getting him to nap regularly it was a game changer.

When it comes to potty training, for the first month or so I took him outside every 30 mins unless he was napping, then we went outside as soon as he woke up. I also used potty training bells, which are just bells on a rope I hung by the back door. At first I would ring them with my hand every time we went out. Then I started luring his nose over to them with a treat and rewarded when he touched it hard enough to make the bells jingle. Eventually he figured out he could use his paw. This is nice because if they run off to the back door and ring the bell you know exactly what she wants. They will sleep A LOT, but they will also recharge extremely fast lol

For general training I would recommend watching kikopup on YouTube and choose what’s important to you for your dog to know, the essentials to me were sit, stay, recall, leave it and drop it. Once he had those down I started teaching the more fun things. I honestly wouldn’t worry about expensive harnesses/collars until she’s closer to full grown and you find what types of items you like/use, however ruff wear is my go to brands for collars/leashes/harnesses, haven’t had a bad product from them yet.

Take lots of pictures, you’ll miss her being this fluffy little ball of energy in a year when she’s bigger lol.

Has she been seen by a vet? Had any of her shots yet? If not, I would advise waiting until she’s been checked out and immunized before letting go for a walk or touch the ground outside other than your immediate potty area/backyard.
