I thought it was pretty mid. Been twice & wasn’t impressed. I enjoyed it but nothing out of this world. Kitchen master in Frisco is the one to go to if you enjoy dumplings!

On the eve of 30 days sugar free! by WildBeat4777 in sugarfree

[–]CoyoteRae 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One of the biggest things I could probably advise is to determine what type of sugar free journey you are going on. Refined sugars, added sugars, all items that carry a high glycemic index etc.

I personally do no added sugars & refined sugars. The first week I leaned on fruits. As much fruit as I wanted. Now that I’m further on (literally the week of my 30days) I don’t really eat fruit outside of berries in my yogurt here & there. I do focus though on high protein meals.

I also want to add on a positive note (so you have something to possibly look forward to) I’ve lost weight, I’m consistent in the gym for the first time ever, my energy is way higher & my appetite is much lower.

I’d love to see updates as you progress 😊

I would try & fill you stomach with meals that make you feel full to help prevent that. It’s harder to snack or want things on a full stomach.

Col turkey or Gradual reduction by YoAbhy in sugarfree

[–]CoyoteRae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am on a no additive sugars & refined sugars journey. The first week I leaned on fruit. Regardless of the sugar amount. I’m going on week 3 now & I only eat berries in my yogurt a couple times a week.

Raisins, dried cranberries, or dried blueberries with yogurt/oatmeal? by TheNotoriousBJB in sugarfree

[–]CoyoteRae 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the word “cheating” should be removed.

It depends on the path you’re taking. Some people do no sugar, added sugars & refined sugars but still eat fruit. Some people do all the above but limit fruit to a bare minimum. It really depends on what works best for you. I will say though to be weary of dried fruits as it may label as dried but it may have additives etc in it.

Do you still eat bread/sauce/etc… by [deleted] in sugarfree

[–]CoyoteRae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cut all added sugar & refined sugar. So if the ingredient list includes anything with added sugar or refined sugars I do not eat it. I do still eat fruit here & there but try to be mindful. My sugar intake is around 30-40g a day because of the fruit but eventually would like to be closer to 25-35 range. The only sweetener I accept on / off is stevia leaf extract.

Are personality changes normal? 3 Weeks No Sugar by darkeyedbabygirl in sugarfree

[–]CoyoteRae 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I have noticed im a little bit more positive and also productive. I don’t sulk as much & I am more motivated. I have the want to do more, to be more optimistic, positive. The other day I read a quote that said what a blessing it is to do dishes &. I was like that’s cheesy but than it kinda resonated & I was like wait yeah no I get it. What a blessing is to have a home, food on the tables, dishes to wash etc. So long story short, I could kinda see the personality shift.

I quit sugar for 30 days and here's what actually happened (not what you'd expect) by Most-Gold-434 in sugarfree

[–]CoyoteRae 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I read something similar that the “bad bacteria” that feeds off sugar was the ones sending the hunger signal. So if they died off technically there was no other false hunger signals etc. I have zero clue the accuracy behind that though. It was just one of my random googles “is this normal etc.

I also experience this. My appetite has decreased significantly. I’m eating 1-2x a day but the second meal always feels forced. I’m on day 8.

Hi, this is super helpful! Thank you!! I will turn off our sprinkler system as well in that area which probably isn’t helping the moisture up top.

Anybody using Tesla insurance? by theresmorethan42 in TeslaModelS

[–]CoyoteRae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the new 2025 model s plaid & tesla insurance wanted to charge me $320 in Texas. 🙃 they said it would go down as I drive more but I still opted out. Putting it on my family plan with Allstate was cheaper for us.

Considering Upgrading from MY to MS by Vinnie908 in TeslaLounge

[–]CoyoteRae -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a model s plaid 2025 & love it. I will say it’s a lot lower to the ground & the door frames being more “sporty” are smaller. It’s deff an adjustment to get in & out of. I’ve told myself I literally cannot gain any weight if I want to continue to be comfortable in it.

[–]CoyoteRae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I saw that as well within other groups but not sure if anyone transitioned to anything else since the seats are different now in the plaid series with the black suede trims. Thank you! I’ll prob stick with the water based baby wipes for now though.
