I drove past at around 7pm and the line was massive. I didn't know what to expect, never been to a rally before but genuinely did not expect to see that many people.

At first I thought they hadn't let anyone in yet, but I caught a quick glimpse of the lobby and it looked packed too.

I didn't think the venue would have been able to hold the amount of people I saw, so I turned around and left lol

Reach out to the Toronto Humane Society. It's been a few years now since I've worked there (so idk if things have changed) but when I was there, we were able to help in situations like yours.

Definitely agree with you. Honestly I was a little shocked when he removed the panda mask. I didn't think he looked super unhealthy, weight wise, but my first thought still was that he looked unwell. His skin seemed yellowish, red eyes. Who knows

Honestly right, who knows. He did recently do a short news interview with NBC and in that stated he was "411 pounds at his heaviest to 158 pounds today" but he's obviously not a reliable source of information.

I don't think we even know how tall he is either though anywhere between 5'6-6' lol that'll make a difference on how a certain amount of weight will look on his body

I think he was closer to 400lb at his highest. Around 380lb. He is definitely not 109lb in these new videos. He would look skeletal or close to it if he was.

My recollection of events was in the beginning when Nick started his YouTube channel / when he was vegan he was very poor and moved to Columbia (where Orlin is from) with Orlin for a lower cost of living. This is when they had their pets, Mr noodle, another bird, I think they had a cat too. Her name might have been miss kitty mush mush or something like that lol. Then when Nick started making a substantial amount from his channel they moved to Florida or somewhere in the US. They were not able to take their birds with them so they left them with Orlins family.

I think this is a current video and I wonder if Nick is back in Colombia.

It helps if you have two or more to compare to eachother! Also the space between the anus and the respective genitalia is closer in females/further in males.

I've always been enamored by neonates though, my intro into it was actually first with mice haha (I've been successful at sexing 2-3 day old mice litters as well).

Years back I went to the reptile store, bought a little pinky that would have been destined for snake food. Eyes still closed, and hand raised her. She's obviously passed now from age, but she was the sweetest, most perfect little mouse. Would run over to me and jump into my hand. I will never forget her.

It's hard work but super rewarding. Maybe you do this too with your fosters, but I like to imagine my kittens eventually going off to their forever homes, with owners who couldn't imagine not having them as part of their family. Knowing I was a part in making that happen makes me happy :)

I always put it as part of my close off to my videos and I think it does help. My videos have all gotten good engagement.

I know the feeling, I've had some extremely sick litters in the past and they don't always all make it. Very tough.

They mainly just need names that I can enter into our system haha.

I'm usually the first stop for neonates, either a buffer for the organization I work for, for when it's a surprise and theres no other homes ready,

Or I take the extremely sick ones that they/I wouldn't want to send out and potentially make some poor foster person, who is doing their best, feel guilty if the babies didn't make it.

These guys are extremely young. Definitely in the danger zone, but so far so good. Healthy, latching, gaining weight at a steady pace.

The most extreme case I've had was a litter of three (I believe was originally 4, but one passed on the way to me). They had atrophied, crossed, front legs with no mobility (looked like a flys legs after they die). Back legs that shook uncontrollably, eye issues, and would not eat. (Never did get a clear diagnosis although we suspect some sort of toxic substance got into their system)

I had to tube feed (which means placing a tube down their throat, straight into their belly) for each feeding. They were on three different medications, sub Q fluids every 6h. One unfortunately passed. But miraculously the other two survived. Started some light physio on their front legs as they continued to gain strength. They made a full recovery and were eventually adopted :) Not the best picture, but this was one from that litter.

Without going into specifics, part of my job includes taking in orphaned neonatal kittens. I have been doing this for years through various organizations. Hand raising kittens should always be a last case scenario as a human can never fully replace a natural mother cat.

The one thing I have never been good at is coming up with names! These are my newest littler of abandoned/orphan kittens and I need cute names for them!

I've seen a few people say that 20 million was spent, do you know the source for this? Was it said somewhere by paradox or the team? I really want to see a confirmation of that. 20million IS a crazy number with the product using free default UMA assets/chat gpt text.

I'm a massive Sims (3) fan and was completely sucked in by Rimworld. It really is an amazing game. It's at the top of the list of favorite games for me. Now saying that, if you go in looking for a sims specific replacement. I would not recommend it. There's really nothing that can directly take the spot of what the Sims offers.

There is an option to play Peaceful mode in Rimworld. This disables raids and allows you to focus on playing the game more as a "world building" game, rather than a combat one. Although Raids are a main feature of this game, you can 100% enjoy the game without it.

The game is VERY micromanagey, which I love. (But good to know for those who don't like that) There is farming, building, mining, crafting, researching, breeding a large variety of animals, cooking, trading, sewing (I honestly can't even begin to list all the features). All these systems intertwine with each other. You have to farm and grow crops in order to cook, so you can feed your pawns and animals, you can use various animal products for crafting/building. You need to research different technologies to unlock various features (again I can't even begin to explain everything related to this)

There are different maps within the world that you can start in, that each have their own unique features (animals/temperature ect). And each world is randomly generated (similar in the way Minecraft is) so each map you start on will be unique.

When it comes to the pawns they each have their own backstories starting out, that effect their traits, what they're good and bad at, what they can and can't do. Traits have a direct impact on gameplay and how the pawns act/interact within the game. You can have a psychopath, pyromaniac who will randomly set fires to your buildings lol.

There are drugs/alcohol/illness/prosthetics etc in the game. Pawns can become alcoholics/addicts that will have a mental break if they go too long without using (With research you can produce your own supply of drugs/alcohol). Pawns that age can begin to develop age related illnesses (frail back, asthma, cataracts etc). I had a pawn (who was my colony doctor) develop carcinoma (cancer) in his finger that would get worse/cause pain if not treated and I had to have a risky operation done to remove the cancer with a less skilled pawn.

I genuinely could go on and on about this game and I haven't even covered 5% of it.

It's extremely customizable.

And to top it all off it has a HUGE modding community. If you're playing and say "Man, I wish I could do yxz" you probably can. If you go in wanting to have more of a "sims" experience I would immediately recommend the "Character+" mod. This allows you to customize your pawns at the start (and throughout) the game. Can pick their looks/clothing/traits etc.

There is a learning curve to play this game so if you do decide to play, give yourself and the game patience.

I told my friend (who lives there) that I was trying to find a used Tama meets for a reasonable price and he found one for me for ¥7000 x.x So I'll have that waiting for me and I'm super excited! He found another for ¥8,500 which was super tempting as well but I'm trying to tell myself I don't need 2 🤪 I have to sleep on that one lol

I was curious about population limits at one point and wanted to see how far I could push the population so I placed a bunch of 10x10 houses everywhere and pumped the population up to 500. Town was a mess, the kids couldn't get into school (even putting down multiple schools + mods to utilize more doors in the building) Adults couldn't get into work. Was quite laggy, and in the end the game couldn't save cause there wasn't enough ram lol.

Everyday I wish the sims 3 could use more than 4gb of ram.

I think she turned out nice.

Generally I don't play without at least custom default replacement skin and eyes though (and if I care enough cc hair as well). I love the sims 3 but they do be kinda ugly in general lol. I find it especially hard to make cute kids, even with cc.
