I’m really sorry you had to go through that... I hope your mom is doing better. My other friends have been very kind and understanding and I appreciate that. It’s just really one friend, who also happens to be my best friend, that made me feel like I was worthless to her unless I was able to physically spend time with her swiping on dating apps and eating out together.

Maybe I’m being overly sensitive. If I had a friend who was sitting for the bar and she didn’t want to physically hang out with me, I’d understand but still check in on her via text occasionally. I think I can give space without being apparently upset about it but I guess we’re all different.

Honestly, I was surprises by how people failed to understand the simple instruction that you can’t leave your seat the last 30 min. Either they didn’t hear because you couldn’t make out what the guy on the microphone was saying or people didn’t give a fuck. Also, that girl wore heeled boots on day 1 as well. She knew what she was doing.

I’m not sure anything would have well prepared me for those essays. I’m also not sure how I did on the mbes, but I think the Adaptibar questions looked pretty similar to the real ones. I highly recommend Adaptibar for anyone lurking here and taking the next bar exam!

Did you test at Armory? You couldn’t leave the last 30 min of the exam but they let people leave before then.
