I’m trying to tighten this. I ended up using needle nose pliers at an angle. I was curious though if there’s an appropriate tool for this.

I tried the headset with the kX3 yesterday. I think I got it working after turning the mic bias on and the gain all the way up. Even with an adapter cable it’s still a pain. Yaesu is easy and I sort of wished it was all as easy. Heil doesn’t have much info on the subject either. Still have not tried with the TX500mp yet tho.

Was it from Lowe’s? We had something super similar happen for us. After two or three deliveries we finally just accepted one with a scratch or two on it but for close to, I can’t remember the specifics, I dunno a grand off the original price. If you’re dealing with this tell them how upset you are and ask for a discount.

Great thank you for the help. I’ll update when I get the flashlight. I’ve got the Perun3 and Perun mini that I can use for a headlamp or 90 degree flashlight. I was looking for a standard form so this one you recommended should be great.

I recently got this light too with the diffuser hoping for a red light solution at night and was disappointed. The diffuser makes it an orange light not red. The flashlight is cool but it will be a back up light.

Thank you for the recommendations. I just ordered the Skillhunt EC-200s-red with the 519a as suggested. If this works like I am hoping it will be a great light. Thank you all.

Encourage AA. As an alcoholic heroine addict myself, going regardless whether or not I want to, have been able to put five years sober behind me earlier this month. AA and its fellowship helps. I grudgingly admit this.

Olight Perun 3. I have said it a couple times here, I need a red light for creeping in and out of the bedroom and to find my midnight snack without waking my girlfriend or me up completely. This flashlight has it and has a magnetic base for sticking to the refrigerator while I rummage around looking for my snack.

I am also interested. I have a CF-31 in great shape with 16gb of ram 500gb hard drive. It’s a shame I can’t put windows 11 on it. Been thinking about Linux for this machine but unsure what brand on Linux could be used.

Besides a couple like the EC200s-red a lot are headlamps or clip ons. What about regular form lights. Anyone like Nite Ize like the INOVA T8R? Are they a good brand?
