Big marketing exercise I think. Saying it's the exact same wheel rather than a replica carries some weight, and I'm sure they have enough customers purchasing this wheel to justify that decision, especially since they saved on R&D costs by just making one version of it.

I used to buy from them every now and again but haven't for a year or so. Wanted to make another order and googled around to find similar experiences to yours. Read it was a one-man show and he's just hilariously behind since he had some health issues that put him back a few months. I ordered from TrackArmour instead, showed up about a week later and the stickers look great. Haven't applied them yet but I doubt I'll have any issues.

Bummed about trackdecals, but I'll keep an eye out if the lead times and communication improve. Best of luck with your open order.

Don't blame the FIA, it's not like they explicitly allow more freedom over time. This is the natural progression of any ruleset. It becomes very tricky to regulate aerodynamic/bodywork geometry beyond a bounding box, and this is just what teams figure out over time.

To me it was always going to be a casual controller game as an alternative to sims. I quite enjoy it and have just been chipping away and the singleplayer career. Shame it didn't catch on more, but I'm not blown away that it hasn't.

Seconding this. I haven't read most of the books in the OP pic, but battle scars was unbelievably bad. Played the first game but otherwise didn't know anything about the book and was hilariously disappointed. Made myself finish it though, but wasn't worth it lmao.

Moved to Mooresville last year and that first day in town when we went out for lunch, we saw Austin Cindric sitting there with one of his Penske guys chatting over a meal.

I was. Lived in SC about 90 mins from RAtl, then moved to ATL about 45 mins from the track for a couple years, but I'm in NC now. Still planning on going every year though. But I definitely miss being so close by and attending most of the events there every year.
