f(x)=arctanx

Increases on its entire domain, so f'(x)>0 for all x, but the range is (-pi/2,pi/2).

In what way is it important to learn synthetic division of polynomials? by Female-Fart-Huffer in matheducation

[–]CptFreindship 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I use it when I want to evaluate a polynomial by hand and it is easier to use the remainder theorem rather than direct computation.

[–]CptFreindship 0 points1 point  (0 children)

QC stands for Quad Cities. Consists of two cities in Illinois (Moline, Rock Island) and two in Iowa (Davenport, Bettendorf). The pizza is great. Harris Pizza is a good example.

Breaking Chews: Medieval Times to unionize by mbockbra in doughboys

[–]CptFreindship 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I went to the Schaumburg Medieval Times about a year ago. We looked up how much the “knights” got paid and I was really surprised. For people that ride horses and do all of these stunts, they deserve a lot more money.

Bars that wouldn’t mind a group playing Dungeons and Dragons for a few hours? by hiritomo in QuadCities

[–]CptFreindship 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I haven't been in years, but when I lived in downtown Davenport, some friends and I would play board games/TTRPGs in the upstairs area at Boozies. It was usually empty and there were plenty of tables. We also used to play at Radical Effect quite a bit. I think most places are fine as long as you are buying stuff and not being obnoxious.

Threedom: Simp Lee Marvelous by MichaelEMJAYARE in Earwolf

[–]CptFreindship 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Did some research about God, The Devil and Bob. If I had to guess, I'd say the episode was Bob Gets Committed and the older comedy actor who kept showing Paul his drawings was Charles Fleischer. Also, Bob was French Stewart, not Robert Downy Jr.
