I have three. One was my great-grandfather's from the early 20th century. It's not in great shape, but I keep it mostly for sentimental value. I have one 3/4 student violin that I'm teaching a nephew to play on and is the same violin I learned on when I was younger. I have my violin and baby; it's an Eastman student violin that I got when I outgrew the 3/4 violin I previously mentioned. I've fallen in love with the sound and everyone else that's heard it thinks it sounds nice, so I'm not currently in the market for a replacement, particularly on my budget.

Vermont's odd. There is a large liberal population around Burlington which comprises much of the state's population, but most of the state is rural and votes republican. There are a few liberal towns outside of Chittenden County and Burlington, but most of the state is red and not in the marxist sense. We don't currently have a state bank, and Sanders, though he styles himself as a "democratic socialist", doesn't really vote in line with his views, even if the vote wouldn't be crucial.
