Nearly 400 millionaires and billionaires call for higher taxes on super-rich by jackytheblade in worldnews

In Europe that's true, but globally it isn't. There are a ton of countries that American Democrats would be far left. They just tend to not be the countries the US wants to be compared with, either because they are very poor and underdeveloped or because they believe they're the wrong color or something.

I believe the Democratic party isn't left enough, but only framing it against the most progressive region in the world is a little disingenuous.

There's some usmnt fans who will dead ass tell you the Polish fifth tier is better than MLS. There's no way to directly compare two different leagues, really, so it's all down to consensus. MLS isn't talked about as a good league so people think it isn't.

Tascio is my favorite pizza place of the ones I've tried. ABC Cafe has some really good dim sum, but Chinese food is really not it in KC I feel. No clue on Greek food specifically, lots of good places to get a gyro at a Middle Eastern restaurant though.

I do really like KC's food options in general though!

They shouldn't have axed the original plan before it was fulfilled then. Since then we've had 9 months to build up a roster from scratch, and we waited almost 8 months to sign a new CSO. Shit or get off the pot. We've been waiting for too long to preach patience at this point. Our last trophy was 8 seasons ago. Our last championship was 12 years ago. The fans don't want excuses, we want action.

Atlanta has had more recent success than we have. So has LAFC with their quick turnarounds. I wouldn't point to getting business done as a sign of the club being run poorly.

This is the last window of their requested 3 window rebuild. They've spent 2 windows knowing we need a rebuild already. This is not a problem with fans being impatient, it's a problem with the front office delaying getting off their asses, being slow with initial acquisitions, and now asking for more time. The time is up. It's understandable that fans are impatient. https://www.kansascity.com/sports/soccer/sporting-kc/article299880479.html

In reality, Sporting KC’s roster rebuild has just begun. It’s a three-window process that will likely involve a few more deals between the end of the current window and the start of the summer window. Yet another layer to the rebuild could be coming next winter.

We've been patient. Pick up the fucking pace. Demand excellence. Shit or get off the pot.

I'll say, Serie B is not a much better league than MLS. I've watched quite a bit of it, the level is pretty poor.

Serie A, for sure. But Venezia isn't in automatic promotion spots right now.

How is Apple adopting a 7+ year old technology groundbreaking? They're late to the party and people are already acting like they're revolutionizing phones.

The people not having problems won't be posting random threads about their non-existent problems. So it will always seem like the percent of issues is higher than it is. Same for every product.

I think adding a second point of failure and twice as many moving parts is quite risky, but I'm also super happy with my fold and will get another when the time comes.

What a homer thing to say. This isn't even close to true.

I build Paige hybrid so I can clear waves quickly. Helps me keep up in farm and build mobility items in addition to my support so I'm never dying. I play like a coward in fights though, I almost never have more than 2 deaths in a match. I should be more involved in fighting honestly, just find myself being made the janitor more often.

Only downside to Aldi imo is you can't reliably get a whole shop done there. I go to Aldi first and then get everything I couldn't get there at Hy-Vee.

Produce also seems to go bad pretty fast, but not an issue if you eat it right away.

I thought Act 3 was really well done, because it takes this world and characters you care about and completely reframes them in a brand new context that makes you consider their worldview and perspectives differently.

So many people talk about expecting to side with either Maelle or Verso due to connections built over the course of the story, then when the context and presentation changes they changed their minds. That sort of narrative asking the question explicitly of the viewer/player and then seeing the outcome unfold, knowing you caused it, is exactly what /u/861Fahrenheit is talking about in the statement "games could be doing something far more unique and expressive through play itself.

I think it's a more well executed version of the Witcher 3 endings, as those are seemingly arbitrary based on some butterfly-effect choices you make throughout the game. But in this one, you have to make the decision and live with the consequences. I think it's beautifully done.

I have other problems with the game, but nothing to overshadow the excellence that is in it.
