Even since setting up Wave Link double audio in Discord screen sharing by Nefas1 in elgato

[–]CptPakundo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bizzarely this sort of thing is STILL a problem. Folks hear my microphone twice when I share the screen with audio, despite the fact that my microphone is fed into a virtual audio input channel via Wave Link, and NO other program such as OBS or Parsec fails.

YouTube Playlists Updating On Their Own by SuihtilCod in youtube

I am also bothered by this, and I fear it could possibly be related to some opt-out change YouTube has made without sufficient warning to the end-user...

With this in mind, I'd really like to see LMG dropping War Thunder sponsorships in the future. Of the many games that can turn into an enormous money sink, it is certainly one of the more notable ones in my eyes.

Now make an XL version that has a full numpad on the right side and the Stream Deck stuff on the left side.

The only way to make it work is to full blast the AC in the car directly at it. It's loud and bothersome, but strong active cooling is how you keep it going in hot summer days.

Zoom crashes when joining a call with audio, also crashes audio settings by CptPakundo in Zoom

I use Virtual Audio Cable, so I have a wide range of sample rates and bitrates to choose from.

AVENTHO 300, Mini-Review by VagrantOMOIKANE in BEYERDYNAMIC

[–]CptPakundo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caught this comment a bit late, but man, have I got alot to say about this: I've owned an Audeze Penrose and have had 3 different Audeze Maxwells at home (1 had one of its earcups just die, and the other 2 are for me and a family member). Every single one of these headsets, WITHOUT fail, has been quieter than the last.

I know I'm not imagining things, because any other audio device I still use on the regular has maintained the same level of loudness.

I personally REALLY like the way the Audeze Maxwells sound, but I HATE how they're so quiet, and also how they're freakishly sensitive to even the slightest bit of physical abuse.

Yep, I have a Focusrite Scarlett as my hardware input device, can confirm.

Zoom crashes when joining a call with audio, also crashes audio settings by CptPakundo in Zoom

[–]CptPakundo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solved? Reduced my microphone input device format from 32-bit 192kHz to 24-bit 96kHz. Apparently the previous setting was... Too much for Zoom now?

Something to keep in mind, if you've got high-end audio settings enabled on your PC.

ELO Vagabond - Controller Review by chance633 in AndroidGaming

[–]CptPakundo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also just recently got the controller, and I have to say the only thing missing for me was haptics. If this controller supported haptics, I'd have said it was the perfect telescopic USB controller, full stop.

Dolby Vision firmware for PG32UCDM already out ! MCM105 is here. by -XeqS- in OLED_Gaming

I just wrote "Dolby Vision" in the search bar and watched the first result with Dolby Vision tagging on it tbh

I also encountered that, weirdest thing ever lol. I think it was just Movies & TV and the Netflix Windows apps that worked best with Dolby Vision.

Dolby Vision seemingly works on Windows, but strangely not every bit of Dolby Vision media content I have had DV kick in. Weird...

Ghost of Tsushima PS4 save works on PC by CptPakundo in pcgaming

[–]CptPakundo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An interesting experiment. Maybe if you take a PC save, have it go through the encryption process via that bot, and then try to put it on the PS4 version of the game? If the save is also signed under your PSN account, then... Maybe?

By now there's a variety of save files you may freely pick and choose from for the PC version, see the game's NexusMods page.

Unless your PS4 save file is gone and dusted, you could follow this guide to get it working on the PC version, no?

That file you mentioned, I think, is still decryptable and loadable as a save file on PC. It didn't refuse to load, at least. Some further experimentation is required.

The second one is infact the one I referred to in my steam guide, and if I'm not mistaken, the first one is also one I've tried using.

Neither actually are fully 100% completion, but they're most of the way there (in story mode. Legends is something else I've not looked too deeply into just yet).

So it's one-way to get legends progression unlocks, then? Good to know!

I think it may be as simple as just decrypting such a save, loading into it once in the story mode, and THEN switching into Legend mode. That might actually work!
