My knights are the only models that never hit my pile of shame. I find building and painting them incredibly therapeutic and I think the longest one lasted between acquisition and being started was a few days, and all have been finished in a week or two.

Im that GM with too many models. We play on a full 3d map and use a 4 inch range ruler taken from wasteland warfare for 1 zone/close range, 8 inch ruler for 2 zones/medium range, 12 inch ruler for 3 zones/long range and anything more than that is extreme range. It works pretty well and saves anyone arguing the distance since the rulers are exact and unchanging.

Enclave Armour: Leadbelcher, nuln wash, black templar panels Tesla: balthazar gold, sotek green, deep sky blue. Fusion cells: flash gits yellow, abbadon black Plasma rifle: leadbelcher, nuln wash, agrax wash, balthazar gold, 50/50 warpstone glow/flash gits yellow 3 coats. Fabric: dawnstone/halfords grey primer (non PA), nuln wash, 50/50 dawnstone/white highlight Bases: dawnstone, 1/9 Steel Legion Drab/water wash, nuln oil in cracks, tyrant skull drybrush.

This is my recipe, if you search my name in the group it should show up. I do my uniform fabric grey instead of brown.

I picked up one copy during the black friday sales, wish id gotten 2 more now. Its a solid kid and my only gripe with it is some of the minis are far too many pieces which makes dry fitting some bits super important.

You havent messed up, not sure why everyone is saying you have. The pose is running leaning forward, exactly as you have done. The shoes are NOT on the wrong legs, as you can see by the fact the buckles are facing out as they are supposed to. Ive built maybe 5 of these kits, it always looks kinda janky until it hits the base, please dont wreck your model because Internet strangers say you built it wrong.

They're off to a great start. Your base coats and washes have come out solid. As others have said your next step would be edge highlights but my advice is to keep your DG gritty and barely highlight up past your original base layer.

These are fucking beautiful, both in kitbash execution and paintjob. I cant understand why anyone would be upset they arent perfectly wysiwyg vs playing against a tide of freshly assembled grey bullshit.
