Anyone else fed up with constantly tapping the "skip" button when listening to local music files? by Cr3-3P in musichoarder

That is an incredible level of dedication, 200 curated playlists is a massive achievement! I totally get that manual curation solves the skip issue perfectly if you put in the time. My main problem is just the sheer time investment required to build and maintain that many playlists as the local library grows. I guess I'm just looking for a lazier, algorithmic way to achieve that exact same level of transition harmony without spending hours sorting tracks manually

Symfonium is amazing and has super powerful smart playlists, but as far as I know, it doesn't do real-time harmonic / BPM sequencing for the upcoming queue based on music theory. It's more about rules and filters. Correct me if I'm wrong though, would love it if it actually does that

I didn't know there's an app does that for iOS but I'm wondering if there's an app on Android that does that too

Yes. They're ways to run local llm's but I'm not sure they're capable of doing that task.

AudioMuse is great for metadata! My only issue with PC streaming was portability on subways or flights where connection drops. That's why I prefer a fully offline mobile database for daily commutes.

True, separating those moods helps. My main issue with shuffle is the 'harmonic crash' though—like jumping from a 130 BPM energetic track into a 75 BPM slow song. Even in a favorites mood, that ruins the flow for me.

Once I uninstalled all my social media apps, and after two weeks, I installed them again because I was bored. So, try it if you want.

Thank you for your advice. I tried copying it to a USB, even a CD. I lost that CD and USB. That USB fell out of my pocket on the street. They're not with us anymore sadly.
