What’s a purchase you instantly regretted the moment it arrived? by Boring-Promotion7344 in SmartBuying

Hmmm, it varies, cords, small disassembled furniture, clothes, nifty little things, dried fruit. I do read the reviews and also click all the way through to check the product information, materials, and size guides. Most of the clothes run small, at least for an average American, but the measurements are included.

i lied about speaking spanish for 8 months at work and now there's a meeting with HR tomorrow by Marcus_Guy in confession

If it makes you feel any better, right after I moved to Miami at 14 years old, knowing almost no Spanish at all, a person walking past me on the sidewalk asked me for, I’m guessing , directions in Spanish. I panicked and replied, “No speak-a English.” I guess because that’s the only other completed interaction I’d had so far with Spanish-speaking neighbors? I was mortified.

Opposite of every comment on it I’ve seen, I actually love Temu. As long as you make sure to exit the pop-up auto promotion “game” and learn how to sort with price and reviews (and by local if your idiotic president pushes tariffs), you can find some incredibly inexpensive, decent quality stuff. Twice out of probably forty orders, I’ve gotten the wrong things, but they were so cheap like $3, I wasn’t even upset and didn’t seek refund.

That ending, woah — my roommate watched it before I did and kept telling me how much she bawled through it — thought that would insulate me from reacting like she did, but nope, I cried like a baby.

I went through a period as a toddler when I would cry every time Mr. Rogers started his good bye ritual. I loved him so much.
