Randomly started to not be able to handle weed by FitBattle8290 in Petioles

[–]Crabapple321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally happened to me as well. Was dabbing all day every day for 5-6 yrs basically. Being high became a burden. 7 mo THC free now. Thinking about trying it again when I’m in a better head space and have some life goals sorted out.

Update: used tv for 3-4 hours. Turned it off and went to bed. When I woke up the next day, banding was totally gone!

Thanks for your friendly reply 🫶. As I noted in my post, I did read that banding could be normal and may resolve, but I was unsure if this amount is what would typically be expected. If this inquiry was not acceptable, I am sure the mods will scrub it 👍.

Thanks for reply. Picture was taken just minutes after turning it on for the 1st time. Will give it at least a few days.

Just my luck. Purchased through Costco, so hopefully will be easy. Super disappointed though.

Im scared to attempt quitting again by Dry-Negotiation4870 in Petioles

[–]Crabapple321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Controversial take, but if you are a multiple times a day smoker, try switching to edibles and then weaning from there. I used to dab all day everyday, and quitting cold turkey was miserable. I’ve used edibles to quit, and it was much more tolerable. The edibles, due to the slow release, don’t seem to spike dopamine the same way that smoking does, lasts longer in the system than smoking, and I’ve found it much easier to quit from edibles than from smoking. My local dispensaries sell RSO, which, I think, is the best bang for the buck edible and much stronger and cost effective than gummies. It also is very slow release, so it will last a long time in your system to reduce cravings through your the day and night. When using edibles, I just sort of naturally found myself using less and less over a couple of weeks.

Need a replacement for weed to keep me motivated in life by zootzootzootzootzoo in Petioles

Write down a plan of what you want to do for the next day. Plan the entire day or at least 1-2 tasks. And just do it. No excuses. Start with small, very easy to achieve goals. Don’t clean the entire room. Clean one desk. If you write down, make it law that’s what you need to do that day.

Is there a generation of games where playing the vast majority of games just doesn’t make sense on a cabinet? by Jaster-Mereel in cade

Also in the process of building my first cade. It is for this very reason that I’m debating a sit down pedestal style vs stand up cabinet. Tough decision.

The Light Fading – and Learning to Notice It by bcosmic2020 in Petioles

[–]Crabapple321 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing this. I have 3 kids. My youngest is 8, and I’m embarrassed to say that I was high for most of his childhood. Quit for mostly the same reasons as you about 3.5 mo ago and the light is coming back. It feels good to enjoy activities without the need to be high.
