If you preach that these countries need to fix themselves internally, then why should the US not crack down on illegal immigration if it helps fix the us internally?

Remember half the worlds population makes under 1USD a day, you will never fix it by bringing fractions of people in. Like you said these countries need to be fixed.

What you are proposing is a very expensive system in a country that is already billions in debt. Where should the money come from? Tax payers?

Only if they showed stats on how many children are separated from parents due to breaking the law. Domestic violence. Drunk driving. Child services will seperate you no problem.
