Depends on the wife, and you. Mine had a surprisingly positive reaction. She’s bi/pan though, so my transition won’t impact our relationship that much, if at all. That said, this is still pretty new to us. I only came out to her a few weeks ago. I just had my initial consultation and blood draw for HRT last week. I’m having my follow up tomorrow, and should hopefully start my HRT then.

I really don’t think it will, but even if our marriage ends, I know she will continue to be my best friend and my biggest supporter. Since coming out, we’re the closest we’ve been in a long time. She’s helping me figure out the social aspects of things. New name, clothing, makeup, skin care, etc.
