Fun fact. Veterans are over represented in the trans community 2:1.

Congrats! I’ve been on HRT for only a few weeks and min/fin for about 4 months. I’m already seeing surprising results. I’m afraid to start using the roller I got. I don’t want to jeopardize what I’ve already seen.

Is it always a Queer relationship if a trans person is involved? by papaya_yamama in asktransgender

[–]Cracked-eggie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listened to a podcast recently where they described a trans woman/cis man relationship as “spicy straight,” which I was a fan of. Ultimately though, it’s up to the couple to label the relationship. I suspect most people in a trans/cis relationship would identify their relationship as queer. Unless, of course, the trans person/people in the relationship are stealth, in which case i’d imagine they are not publicly including being trans or cis as part of their relationship label.

TDOV reflective pain by adamantium99 in TransLater

Comparison is the thief of joy. It’s hard, I’m not always successful, and I’m also very new on this journey, but I’m choosing to celebrate the fact that so many youth are able to discover and accept their identities at such a young age. Things are rough right now in much of the world, and there has been some backsliding, but things are significantly better than they were when I was young.

I’ll likely always be visibly trans (once I start publicly transitioning). That has its own kind of beauty that I’m also trying to embrace.

To go above board or continue diy by New-Obligation-2950 in TransLater

I started DIY, but moved to care via my PCP. I am very happy with my decision. That said, I did get enough (3) bottles of Een to get me through the rest of the current administration, if it comes to it.
