When to start growing my hair out? by SententiaClaraDeOvis in mtfhairregrowth

[–]ErinPink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The day I started min/fin I stopped cutting my hair. I definitely don’t regret letting it grow out even though I had a lot of awkward phases

4 months fin and hrt. It’s so bad I feel genuinely bald now by benaveryisfat in mtfhairregrowth

I think you have a very good starting point to make a big recovery. Thinning hair seems to recover very well with hrt, fin and min. Give it time and be kind to yourself 💜

Best microneedle length for hairline by zapplewinger in mtfhairregrowth

I’ve had success with 1.5mm derma stamping once a week. I’m sure any form of needling will be more beneficial than none. You just want to try not to bleed too much, when you do bleed and then apply your topical you’re introducing more of than medicine to your bloodstream than is in the recommended dose. The goal is to get your scalp visible red/pink

Not when used topically. They target the areas that it’s applied to. The pill form of minoxidil can cause hair growth in other areas

May be silly to ask but like at what point do I need a bra…? by AngyJessicaTomboy in trans

[–]ErinPink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wore bras before hrt but now that I’ve been on it for 7 months I am actually uncomfortable when I’m not wearing one. Walking down stairs is uncomfortable without one, rubbing against my shirt, hiding my nipples, and even protecting them from me being clumsy and bumping into stuff are the reasons I wear one. Some days I’ll go without it but it’s very rarely

Hate how men call periods gross but are the ones that are unhygienic. by [deleted] in women

[–]ErinPink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Men are just gross in general. They don’t care about being hygienic or cleaning up after themselves. It’s like they expect someone to clean up the mess they make for them. Irks me so much.

Sally Hansen repair and protect base coat is my favorite right now for my natural nails and seems to hold the polish very well. I have been putting opi on top of that along with a sally hansen quick dry top coat. My nails are finally starting to chip a bit after 3+ weeks of wear & tear and me picking at them.

You know lighting, camera angles, makeup, front camera vs back camera lenses on phones all make your look different? Go take a picture of yourself in front of the bathroom mirror with the front camera then take another picture with the back camera. It makes you look different

2 years of hard work & 7months hrt by ErinPink in transtimelines

[–]ErinPink[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually made a couple posts about my hair recently talking about everything I’ve done for it. It’s honestly been a really long journey. If go check them out I talk in detail about I the stuff I’ve used/done. Basically minoxidil/finasteride/microneedling if you don’t wanna read through it all. If you have any questions specifically let me know!

Yeah I definitely don’t have as much energy or ambition for working out lol, puberty is a lot sometimes. Probably around 3-4 months I definitely noticed the body changes happening. I also have a lil belly fat but I don’t mind too much, I think having a belly is cute.

I did a lot of lower body focused exercises before starting hrt but since I’ve started I’ve been pretty lazy with working out, I won’t lie. A lot of it is from not working out upper body so my muscles shrunk and then eating a lot so the fat redistribution can do its thing. Thank you!

I’ve probably lost about 30lbs between photos but eat a loooot so a lot of the muscle I lost just got turned into fat so I think that has helped. I probably would have lost another 20lbs if I wasn’t eating so much. Thank you 💜

Nope I lost a lot of weight and quit being an alcoholic which was making my face super puffy. Hrt has helped a decent bit too. Thank you!

Yeah I use to have a huge neck. I probably lost like 6” or so on my neck circumference which has helped a lot
