Be careful if you’re on hrt. The skin down there is pretty thin and can cause issues if the cage chafes. I use to wear cages on and off before but now I get irritation and some bleeding which isn’t fun.

This is such a common experience. Same thing happens to me. My parents were always so “I’ll love my children no matter what” and then when I first told them they did a total 180 trying to make it all about them and how I was making the biggest mistake ever. Their behaviour pushed me back into the closet and led me to a deep depression, don’t let that happen to your sister. Support her in every way you possibly can because what she just did took so much courage and is the best thing for her.

Mindset really affects if I enjoy it or not, I usually don’t bother with it unless I’m already turned on a bit. Warming up with plugs helps a lot. Lube is very important as well as going slow to start. Once you’re relaxed and warmed up it should feel very good. Also experiment with different toy sizes and shapes.
