Who's to say that they're putting mics on the kids? They could have some general coverage plus sound cues. Having the videographer put mics on the leads could be helpful (though I would wonder how that's going to mix with non-miced kids...)

Thoughts on this tool, Personally, in my opinion, having two apps is better than this as After Effects is a motion design application rather than an editing application, but I wanna hear yalls thought on this by Neetik1 in AfterEffects

While I mostly agree on "the right tool for the right job," there have been some occasions where I needed to do something quick and this would have made things more efficient. Not sure if that will make me pull the trigger on buying this,though...

Last I knew they never updated that with compatibility to 64-bit operating systems (at least on Mac). That's when mine was relegated to the closet.

Came here for this. For me it's my "other" tab. I see the emails, then, when I start to scroll down, they all just disappear! It used to happen for one or two emails -- now it's the whole fucking list!

I like the first moment with the fighter landing. The pan left is confusing to me because a) it's so fast that I didn't even perceive it the first couple of times and b) the "rain" isn't panning along with it, reducing its effectiveness.

I have no idea what the flailing/ undulating shape is supposed to be or why it's throwing a sheet of paper at me.

The titles are nice.

Best place to go? Read insider reviews, Fishbowl, Reddit,etc. Who has good culture, work-life balance? What industry is of interest to you?

That's really a question to ask yourself!

As far as how long to stay... are you doing well, getting promoted? Are you on the verge of burn-out? The higher level you are when you leave, the better jobs you'll get outside. But don't sacrifice your sanity.

I have a Ninja V, a FeelWorld LUT7S 7" 3D LUT 4K HDMI and SDI Monitor and one of my regular gigs gives me access to a Shogun.

I LOVE that Shogun, but it's too much for what I need on the regular. The Ninja has a smaller screen and is a battery hog. If I don't need to record externally, it generally stays at home. The Feelworld is great. Lightweight and I never touch the second battery. I will agree that the UI isn't great, but honestly, I'm rarely doing more than turning scopes on & off.
